Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 20 → 0.33/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Think Skyrim but you are just Dungeon-Crawling 90% of the time. For me its great fun! The Mage DLC is also worth the Price and gives you a lot of mid -to end game Content where you can learn magic spells to complement your build and climb the ranks of the Mage Guild. (You can't really "start out" as a mage, way to much gold and ressources needed to have a strong variety of spells)
I've had a great time 20 hours into this game. I understand some are not happy with paywalled options like spell casting in this game but my take on that is that even with both paid options, the game is only $32 on Steam. Other games with minor additions such as a cosmetic outfit can run $80-90 on Steam.

I understand the controversy around a day 1 paid DLC. Make of it what you will. But I am very much enjoying this game, and coming from a solo dev, I am super impressed with the design and progression in this game.
Very smooth, "infinite" (spawns new dungeons after completing) dungeon crawler. If you just want some mindless / smooth dungeon hacking it fills the itch nicely.
Sometimes, you just need a relaxing game to wind down
Game is fun and entertaining. Music and graphics style are both good. Gameplay is simple yet fun. Definitely worth giving it a shot. Regarding the Spellcraft & Wizardry DLC, the amount of content it contains is for sure worth its price + it wasn't arbitrary decision on the developers side, majority of community around the game vote in favour of it.(both day 1 DLC and price)
Yeah man some of these reviews are let me be frank, re*****. The game is $25 dollars and is on sale currently. I have gotten 12 hours out of it so far and having blast. The game is obviously meant as a repayable dungeon crawler with a solid story element. Combat and abilities are fun, no lag, voiced characters. Just dont get it and expect it to be revolutionary, it does EXACTLY what it says on the tin. I would sooner buy this twice over then play DA:VG or Avowed.
RAIDBORN is basically that game that gives you the experience of going to whatever dungeon you want, kill everything there in whatever way you prefer and repeat, and honestly it nails it. It's currently sitting at mixed reviews which makes it sound worse than it plays, ngl. A huge chunk of the negative reviews are NOT actually about the game itself, they're about the magic system launching as paid DLC on the exact same day as the 1.0 release. And look, I get why people are mad, magic feels like it should just be part of a fantasy RPG, not an add-on. but I think this is the kind of move we let big AAA publishers get away with constantly (day-one DLC, season passes, whatever) and nobody bats an eye. When a small indie dev does the same thing, suddenly it's "greedy" and "a cash grab." That double standard feels unfair to me, especially because this is a small team trying to create an indie game. I'm not saying the timing was a great call, waiting a couple weeks would've saved them a lot of review-bombing or maybe including it in the final product and raise the price accordingly, but tanking the whole game's reputation over this decision, when the actual content in that DLC is genuinely good, feels like it's punishing the wrong thing, especially because the game has been in EA for so long and it was a decision that was made asking their EA community.
The good stuff
The dungeon crawling is fun. Not deep-lore fun, just "one more dungeon" fun. It has some procedural elements on top of handcrafted bits, some riddles here and there and secrets tucked away, I bought it because it reminded me of the Skyrim's gameplay and dungeon crawling and it def scratches the itch. Progression is the other big win for me. The skill system is open enough that you can go full barbarian, rogue, sneaky knight mixed with rogue (my build), whatever combo you want, and it actually changes how you play instead of just being stat sliders, The balance of the builds and weapons is surprisingly well done, you’ll have a satisfying combat experience and you’ll also be able to feel like a god (à la Skyrim) as long as you build your character properly and focus on what they’re good at, with my stealthy knight character, I’ve been able to kill everyone in stealth with a single blow, apart from strong enemies or those above my level, when I’ve needed external buffs like strength potions to do so, though I’ve failed a few times and paid the price when as soon as I was attacked by a group of very angry enemies. The housing system is a great idea, you’re given an outpost at the start of the game and can expand it as the game progresses. You’ll be able to build rooms that not only unlock more features but also generate resources passively, so the grinding you used to do to farm them gradually becomes easier and easier. The DLC is a must, It feels well-crafted and engaging; in my opinion, it’s been one of the best aspects of the game in terms of the story and gameplay mechanics.
The bad stuff
Story's mid. World looks cool, random quests have some flavor on it, actually it surprised me the amount of quests there is, I don’t think I’ve seen any of them repeat themselves, I’m talking about the plot, not what you do, because the latter will always be the same, it is a dungeon-crawler, after all. Though, there's just not much of a throughline keeping you invested. It's very "next dungeon please" energy. It starts good but then it falls into repeating the same objectives, go to dungeon A and do something in it, then go to dungeon B and so on... Honestly given that the story is not the main focus of the game it is not that bad, as soon as you play the game you will notice how well the other aspects have been looked after. That being said, I’d strongly recommend that you don’t put off the main story, because it might feel a bit tedious later on if you dungeon-crawled a lot.
TLDR
If you can look past the DLC discourse, you're getting a really solid, replayable dungeon crawler with a progression system that has real depth and just feels good. Story won't hook you though. but the rest did it for me.
