Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game is a mishmash of “been there done that” wrapped up in a cosmetically beautiful shell that only allows you to get to second base. In some spots it feels utterly neglected, abandoned and hurried, while other moments reveal true gaming brilliance, those instances are far and few, and it continually stops just short of a metaphorical "happy ending." RAGE gave me blue balls. RAGE wants to be many things (shooter, driving game, RPG, Borderlands, Fallout) but accomplishes only a few dynamic moments within set-pieces really well. It’s like having a friend stay on your couch that keeps promising to get a job, despite his or her failed attempt at being something artistic, they always say, "I'll make it happen tomorrow!" They're actually quite good at being creative, but they can’t seem to be able to set the alarm clock… they always fall short! RAGE is just like that. Or maybe your "artistic" friend drew one good picture early on in their life and everything after that sucked? Considering ID's pedigree (Doom, Quake), I was hoping for more, and the pre-launch hype for this game was really intense, but as with all things that are usually driven by hype, it falls way short of expectations. I’m not saying that RAGE is a bad game, like I said, it does some things extremely well, but overall, the game has no feeling or any real purpose. I wonder what effect the poor sales of this title will have on the development of Doom 4? Graphics: B+ | Sound: B | Playability: B

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

With a little bit of modding the 64 bit version holds up pretty well due to the top tier art and atmosphere building. The structure of the game is a Deus Ex style hub world where you take on missions, then directed to go somewhere in the world to complete them. However, It's effectively a corridor shooter bolstered by some solid AI that will use the environment for navigation and evasion. They'll take cover, flank, try to flush you out with grenades and try to rush you if they see you retreat when you need to heal. Stuff that's not guaranteed even in a modern shooter. There are also racing and car combat elements but these can be avoided for the most part if they're not your thing. Although, they are perfectly serviceable. As others have noted, it does seem like the game was being developed with a bigger scope in mind as the size of the game world and some locked off areas suggest. There's even an abrupt end that might disappoint some who got emotionally invested in this universe. Personally, I felt what is there is well enjoyable and there's enough of it. It also has a good balance of being engaging without getting frustrating.
i was plaed at the eszy way and i lost in all events ; the game take to back and forwed by doing nathing , it is a bad game . dont buy it
A classic game in my opinion, worth a play through at least once. I played on steam and xbox.
Just not a good game. It's very buggy, softlocks you frequently, explains no mechanics, and is severely hampered by controls and UI that favor console play. Further, the combat just isn't fun. On the one hand, mutants die in a single melee hit (or multiple rounds to the head?) and run at you single-file. All regular humanoids take a minimum of 2 sniper rounds to the face. Armored enemies can take multiple mags of upgraded ammo to the face AFTER you knock off their helmet. I'd tell you to play Rage 2, which is better...except the mandatory racing torture in that game prevents me from going back (though I did complete it).
The Good
+Multiple difficulties +Save anywhere, quicksaves, autosaves +Great voice acting +Really great character animations +Just about every town NPC has a distinct appearance +Some really nice setpieces and lighting (if the textures load...) +Racing isn't as obnoxious or mandatory as Rage 2's bullcrap +Enemies take fall damage
YMMV
~Key binding is unnecessarily complicated ~Can't rebind quicksave and quickload keys ~Extremely linear. Invisible walls everywhere. Can't jump over even small objects. ~Moderate swearing and gore ~Strawberry jam health indicator ~Enemy AI pretty dumb ~Many weapons neither feel nor sound impactful ~Light on story ~Your superhuman character has the sprint endurance of an asthmatic ~2 times in Scorchers campaign that I instantly died for no reason? ~Money somewhat hard to come by ~Couple misspellings
The Bad
-Long, unskippable splash screens (see Guides to remove) -Lots of texture pop-in issues (see Guides to mostly fix) -Audio sync and skipping issues (requires lowering texture quality to mostly fix) -Small FOV (see Guides to fix) -Need to run game in 32-bit mode for achievements and other fixes -Game doesn't explain much of anything -Takes two button presses to use any quick slot item (console bs) -Interface navigation with KB&M is a pain (more console bs) -Restricted and inverted camera controls while in a vehicle -I've not seen a slower "quick"save since the 90's -So many recycled areas. You can repeat some up to four times. -Many encounters are just a single file line of mutants, dying in one melee hit -Nearby environmental objects occasionally obstruct clear shots -No world map or some way to mark places you want to come back to -Got stuck in common terrain once, forcing a reload -Fell through terrain once, forcing a reload (an uninstall, actually) -Got stuck in an enemy once, then rocketed into air, despawning all enemies -Terrain occasionally sends you flying if you sprint over a small bump -Enemies or vehicles occasionally get stuck in (and can shoot from) walls -Needs an unstuck button (which is an embarrassing feature for any game) -Bandit vehicles occasionally didn't give kill credit -Bandit vehicles later in game constantly put up invincibility shields - boring -Have we not yet as a species figured out how to program ladders that work? -Enemies spawns are scripted, so you can't sneak up, snipe, or RC car them -Figuring out if NPCs have dialog for you requires staring at them a while -Lootable corpses start despawning if more than six or so present -That tribal screaming the same voice lines for 30 minutes of jackal hideout -Enemies are enormous bullet sponges, often taking full or multiple mags to the unshielded face to kill. Played on: Win11Pro, i7-14700K, RTX5060 Ti 16GB, 32GB DDR5-6000 @ 1920x1080 using KB&M Normal difficulty
Great atmosphere, great art design, perfect gunplay. A true classic in my book.
