RAGE 2 brings together two studio powerhouses – Avalanche Studios, masters of open world insanity, and id Software, creators of the first-person shooter – to deliver a carnival of carnage where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The issue with Rage 2 its an open world checklist game. practiclly all the quests are all the same. go here clear out this area. also the writing both the first game and this sequel have villains called the authority. seriously its that stupid. protaginist is dull too. combat is fun. thats about it.
Awesome moment-to-moment combat. Very much an Ubi-Open World game (its a product of its time for sure) but its so damn fun. Doom 2016, Mad Max & Just Cause DNA makes for a very fun game. Also, the new game + mode is one of my favorites in any game ever. Fully upgrade everything (and there is ALOT) and crank that difficulty up. I'd argue its the best part of this game.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Looks good, plays well, but beyond that it feels like a Ubisoft remake of Mad Max: we can see there's a decent game hiding inside, but it's covered with layers after layers of blandness and repetition.
Now that I’ve finished Rage 2 and its DLCs, I can say I’ve spent a lot of time with this game. I wouldn’t call it bad - in fact, I’d give it a thumbs up on game play alone. But I’m reluctantly keeping my rating as “Not Recommended” for one key reason I didn’t cover before. The combat remains the best part. It’s fast, satisfying, and fluid. Weapons hit hard, powers chain together nicely, and moment-to-moment gunfights are some of the most fun I’ve had in a shooter. If that’s what you’re after, this game absolutely delivers. However, everything surrounding that core still feels shallow. The open world is repetitive, the story and characters are forgettable, and the driving continues to be a weak point. None of that has changed since my initial impressions. What has become more frustrating with time are the bugs and performance issues. Despite being a six-year-old game at the time of this review, I encountered several graphical glitches that persist even after extensive troubleshooting. Some areas, like The Wilds, still produce distracting visual artefacts. I also experienced a few crashes along the way. These issues suggest the game was never properly optimised or patched. It feels like the developers simply walked away, which is disappointing given the potential here. Having now completed everything, I still feel that Rage 2 lacks the heart that made the first game memorable. Rage 1 was smaller, more focused, and strangely endearing. This sequel is bigger, louder, and emptier. Verdict: Fun game play held back by poor support and shallow design. Worth a try for the combat, but a letdown in nearly every other respect.
8.4/10 I played and beat this when it came out in 2019 I remember thinking it was pretty "meh" not bad, but not great (probably because I enjoyed the orginal Rage a lot).. Then a month ago I saw the deluxe version on sale on Steam for $7. I grabbed it. I felt like doing some shooting so I installed this today (Me and a buddy have been playing Guild Wars 1 Reforged - not much shooting going on there..) I installed this and let the shooting commence. I just played for 2.5 hrs and was thoroughly impressed. Lot's of action, doable story, good exploration, and LOTS of S#it to upgrade. perfect. Turn the brain off and go POST APOCALYPTIC!!! I really am having a BLAST (just what the PC DOC called for). I really can't fathom how this game gets such a low rating. For what it is, it's quite FUN! (And can be had for next to nothing on sale). A great pickup at $7.
The graphics are ok, when they're not massively glitching out Sometimes you can get stuck in a death/respawn loop and loose all your progress The auto drive will send you off a cliff the 'upgrade' genetic doc is broken and will kill you Even for bethesda this game is kind of a mess, it came out in 2019 and they still haven't manged to fix the game breaking bugs, it's an astounding heaping pile of flaming sh. . . The story line is cool though, but that's it's only redeeming quality since you'll be stuck starting over multiple times due to the game breaking bugs. So, it's not worth paying for, since it honestly can't even be played.
In Rage 2, you move fast and kill faster. It's the synthesis between id Software's 2016 reboot of Doom and Avalanche Studios' Mad Max, bringing together some of the best ideas from both. Moment-to-moment play on foot is fantastic with each weapon and ability just opening up your options for destruction. Driving could be improved and it's a little on the shorter side, but Rage 2 is a damned good time. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3523115931 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3525620185
A great shooter if you can get it for like $30. Tight gameplay. Stupid writing.
