I used to play this as a kid on CD rom, so when I found out it was on Steam, I got really excited! It is so much fun, even now.

It's super cute, with 24 possible ways to reach the ending, so good luck to finding them all. It's a pity it is old and has no achievements, but I see a bunch of possibilities for it. Brings back memories of playing at my grandma's house as a little kid.

Putt-Putt Travels Through Time soon to be canonized alongside the great existential works of Dostoevsky. History has simply not caught up to the pertinence of its themes, the raw ethnography of Putt-Putt’s chrono experience, the liminal terror of time travel, the quiet dignity of a purple convertible navigating causality itself. Don't get me started on the color purple... never explained, never justified, yet absoulte and focal. A color historically reserved for royalty, divinity, and authority. Putt-Putt exists as both chosen and alienated, sacred and absurd. Even more unsettling is the player’s ability to alter this color, acting as an implicit question of identity: if the self can be recolored, what remains essential? What, truly, is Putt-Putt? [b]When[/b] is Putt-Putt? What does such an experience leave you with? A burden of truth, a distrust of those who fail to grasp temporal responsibility, and a revelation of the consequences shaped by ignorance.

I'm always a sucker for a time-travel plot, though clearly this a very basic implementation. Fun characters, just a touch of puzzle-solving complexity and the interaction between the four worlds is used sensibly without feeling too much like meaningless errands.
