Best Gooner game
+ rep

yes, been a fan since it dropped on mobile
Absoultely the best gacha game. Better than wuwa by a mile.
I can see how people like it. It has some decent groundwork, but I have far too many problems (Yes I know I only played for 31 minutes, so take this review as you will). The combat to me felt more like they were trying to imitate Honkai Impact 3rd but have their own twist on it, which isn't a bad thing. I just really don't like how they went about it. The combat felt button-spammy in the (short) time I played. It just wasn't for me. Another gripe, and I feel this one has more backbone than just "me no likey combat", you have to wait until you complete the tutorial before you can change ANY of your settings. That includes your language. Tacking onto that with a little nitpick, the default VA language isn't English. Once again, not too big an issue, but I feel it's made worse by the fact you have to do the tutorial before you can change it. All in all, the game wasn't for me, but I don't think you should let a singular review from a girl with 31 minutes in the game alone determine whether or not you should get it. It's free, after all. Look at the other reviews or get the game yourself and give it a try
keep coming back to this game every now and then, music is just so good, the main call back, then character designs , half robotic ones especially and the main story are so good. core gameplay loop is fun too, but its drawback is that it can get same-ey after a while for me the strongest story moment was during surviving lucem, when liv holds down the bunker, trying her absolute best to keep everyone alive til the last absolute moment, and then the song comes up, still remember it even after years have gone by
good story good combat, a little janky in some levels. Terrible antialiasing be prepared to fuss with graphics settings.
no controller support. no full screen. no English (don't let the English trailer fool you.) you need to use the mouse to move the camera but need two hands on the key board to actually play the game... play it on your phone if you have to, but this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
PROS: 1. 10/10 story (better than any gacha game I've ever played, and the best part of the game in my opinion) 2. 10/10 combat (THE best combat in gacha games. Feels like a hack-and-slash game like DMC) 3. 8/10 boss fights 4. 9/10 Character Designs 5. 10/10 character stories 6. 10/10 world building 7. 7/10 gacha system (better than most out there) CONS: 1. The story progression is mostly in visual novel style, which most people might not like. 2. The English voice acting is not that good. CN and JP are great though. 3. The story can feel very generic upto chapter 9. After Chapter 9, it starts getting interesting and slowly develops into a masterpiece. 4. The gameplay feels outdated upto chapter 9, as the game is quite old. Though, after chapter 9, you start noticing a jump in quality, and it keeps getting better as you play. 5. The gameplay can get quite repetitive after some time. The events try to keep it fresh, but they too can get repetitive too. 6. The game is extremely linear, with little to no room for exploration, especially in early chapters. It's also not as cinematic as many new gacha games out there. 7. The power creep is crazy. Newer characters are way too overpowered compared to older characters, regardless of their rating. For example, newer S-rated characters are WAY stronger than older S-rated characters. And newer A-rated characters are WAY stronger than older A-rated characters (some even stronger than old S-rated characters). Overall: In my opinion, this is THE best gacha game ever. Even better than WuWa (though not as cinematic as WuWa). But just like every other game out there, it has its flaws. I think, for now, P:GR is the peak of gacha gaming.
