10/10. Beautiful story, mesmerizing characters (especially Alpha, Lucia, and Luna), legendary music, AND ABSOLUTE PEAK COMBAT! This game has it all. My only recommendation to new players would be to just let the game play out for a bit. The early game is a bit rough (well duh, it's a game from 2020), but once you're past the early game, it's a total blast. And the best part? I can run the game on almost max settings on my prehistoric potato of laptop. Goated devs. xD. And like I said, the early game is rough. It's an almost 7 year old game now. When I scrolled down in the reviews, almost all of the "negative" reviews barely played the game for an hour. Yet I find it hilarious how they immediately rushed to just negatively paint the whole experience based on just one aspect. Quite a bit of misinformation mixed in those reviews too, cuz they didn't progress far enough into the game, but eh, to each their own too ig. Anyhow, that's not the point here. P.S. After spending over 200 hours here on Steam and even more so on the game's own launcher, just give it a fair shot, if you're really interested in trying PGR out. The rest is up to you. Have fun, Commandants. ^_^
so fun
Trash controls, bindings don't quite work. Also who puts movement on WASD, attacks on JIKL and camera movement on arrow keys? And abilities on 1234? I'm not an octopus. When the combat works, it's fun, but it's simply not worth it. Also you can't access any menus unless you quit the tutorial, which is how to rebind the controls. Controller support is not native, nor does it try to give you any prompts. Yes, it works, but you have to quit the entire tutorial to do so, and as far as I can tell, you can't continue the tutorial once you end it.
