Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I don't know if there is a single thing I do not love about this game. The concept, setting, visual style, writing, voice acting, music . . . it's incredible across the board. They were really firing on all synapses when they made this baby.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

a unique gem about mental health and daddy issues. psychonauts you were ahead of your time
The Milkman's milk was indeed delicious.
Coming back over 20 years later and this game still oozes charm and a distinctive character. Sure the sequel is a lot slicker, but this is where it all began. I am the Milkman. My milk is delicious
Charming, Intriguing, Incredibly funny, but still so annoying. I went into this thinking I was going to get a funny platformer with some weird stuff thrown in there to make things interesting. In the end I did get that but I was also left incredibly frustrated. Pros: The art direction is just amazing. I mean just look at the cover. It perfectly showcases the direction of the game and how weird it is. It also captures the style of early 2000's cartoons like Invader Zim which I'm a big fan of. The writing is also just amazing. Brilliant and clever throughout the entire game and also just endlessly funny. Might be one of the funniest games that I have ever played. This also feels really (i hate using this word) "meta" and self-aware. I also love me a good fourth wall break and there are a couple in this. I also adore this story and Raz's adventure as a PSI cadet. At first I was pretty confused to how everything worked and all of the psychonaut stuff, but after the tutorial I was instantly hooked by this world and its characters. Characters are spectacular. Raz is a fantastic protagonist and a hilarious one at that. The rest of the cast is funny and incredibly well written as well. Sasha being my favorite out of the supporting characters. Cons: I think this game could've truly been a 5/5 if it hadn't been for the gameplay. This game feels like it suffers from bipolar disorder or something like that. Sometimes it plays buttery smooth and just feels great. Other times it feels slippery and inconsistent which usually ends with me slamming my forehead repeatedly into my table. I don't know if its just been a long time since I last played a platformer, but man I felt like I just sucked at this game. It's just such a mixed bag for me and it unfortunately hurts the overall rating of the game. With that being said. Psychonauts is a game unlike any other that I have played. Incredibly funny, immediately intriguing, challenging, and charming. I'm hoping that the platforming is better in the sequel, because if that's the case then Psychonauts 2 might get close to a 5/5 rating.
Everything in this game is very good, but the gameplay completely sucks. At least there is some variety which keeps the game interesting, but the entire gameplay is too easy, boring and meaningless. A few bugs which required me to restart the game combined with a clunky save system were annoying. I never lost too much progress in one go but I did have to replay some sections, which becomes frustrating when they were unsatisfying in the first place. I heard that Psychonauts 2 addresses these issues and I can't wait to play that. If this game is necessary to get the best experience out of the sequel, watching a video on YouTube about the game might be better. At least for the second half of the game where the novelty wears off.
Simplesmente masterpiece. O Psychonauts 2 é ainda melhor.
I am the milk man my milk is delicious
