Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game is hilarious
For context I have 100% this game AND got all achievements. I slept on this game for too long. I've heard people talk about how good it is many years ago, but just brushed it off. I finally got around to playing it, and I must say, it's one of the most unique 3D platformers I have played. The different psychic abilities and the whole theme of the game
being inside the minds of people
is so much fun and allows for pretty unique levels without having to "explain" itself as to why this exists. I also really enjoyed the adult humour. The random swearing caught me off guard and that's when I realised that despite us being kids at a camp, this is not a childrens game.
Linux performance
This game is Linux native just like almost every Double Fine game (thanks, guys!) but there is actually no controller support on Linux, so I played it through Proton instead. I had no issues, except for the fact I needed to limit the framerate to 60fps to avoid game breaking bugs (I did this with MangoHUD). There are ways to get controllers working on Linux, but then two random bugs can be introduced (camera spinning with a controller and no controller button prompts) so I just decided to play the Windows version via Proton to avoid all that mess.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The greatest aspect of this game is its art direction and creativity. The cartoony and weird character designs are great and the various mental worlds are so uniquely designed, each representing the inland empire of the character. The platforming on the other hand is a bit rough on the edges at times, being frustrating on specific segments. But speaking of the 100% completion, it was a hell to get through, as there are a lot of collectibles to look around for.
and there are also achievements that you can get locked out of as you progress and it's very easy to miss them, but very time-consuming to do it over.
Skill issue aside, the game is hella worth it.
i mean, its got charm but the themes arent that deep. a younger me would probably have respected the story more but its just alright even for its time. vtmb was released a year before this and has better characterization, writing, dark themes and humor but this was rated T back then so i get it. the worldbuilding is not that deep and it didnt strike me as a character drama either, its kinda a mix between different styles of storytelling. the gameplay is so-so, it never slows down to actually establish mechanical depth so it becomes an exercise in figuring out exactly what the game wants you to do both in levels and in fights. its like a constant puzzle game but doesnt actually establish rules like "fire ability burns wood and hurts people" so you have to trial and error every interaction on every level to try and figure out the solution rather than rely on established logic the game presents you with (the portal games are good examples for how to do this well). the gameplay also suffers from its own level design because theres so much verticality and light/darkness at play, sometimes i just could not see what it was the game was wanting me to find or solve. and using clairvoyance like in the milkman puzzle to solve lighting issues doesnt work in the other levels, so idk, i could never fully trust in a mechanic or system to be the answer and didnt feel the effort of making assumptions about how to solve things was worth it. its not rewarding in that way like well-made puzzle games are. its a really creative game though, its unique and interesting. all of that said, i think the game is overhyped. the sarcasm and dark humor carry it, it is pretty funny at times but not charming enough to make me want to engage with the gameplay. i dropped it during waterloo world because i tried to shoot, punch, light and use my shield to deflect vs the cannon enemy and i just got tired of nothing working. the game only allows you to use its mechanics when it wants you to, and its too taxing to try and read its mind 24/7
PUNCH PUNCH PUNCH PUNCH PUNCH!
Juegazo, me lo pase en el xbox
bro ive played 685 hours u should too! (well prob not but still play!!)
Even though it's an old game, it's really fun.
I will keep the milkman's secret.
