Absolument jouissif!
The shortest way I can describe this game is if a company like Nintendo patented double jumping, normal dashes and simple wall jumps, but they still really really wanted it in the game. A LOT of the difficulty of the platforming would have easily been removed with a traditional double jump. Mainly because a lot of the frustration is because it takes a bunch of buttons to do stuff because the direction you input is way more important than it traditionally would be. You have to do quite a lot to do simple things in this game. if you can't jump high enough, doing a flip by waiting until you hit the ground and inputting the opposite direction seemed to get slightly more height. later, kicking walls and cancelling a pole jump can get you facing the right direction. I am not nor will I ever be a fan of helpful movements being paired with a function that will plummet your character if you miss your timing. Mario Odyssey does this and I hate it, and so does this. The lunge attack you can use to reposition yourself, gain height and cancel the high jump that's also a ground slam, will be a ground slam if you don't cancel it. If you want to play an explorative platformer like this with similar to better combat. Give Recore a try. It is more forgiving, but I'd say it invokes a similar urge to explore. Frantically pushing buttons and directions to maintain wall runs and not waste time is basically something you're going to have to get used to to unlock everything in this game though. Other than the very first major battle, combat isn't that daunting, which is great because it's very bare. I'll have to remember to back up my save though. While the total experience was cool, I'm not sure I'd want to do it again. It definitely is a good idea though. Onwards to proper double jumps!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Я эту игру еще не прошел, но вопросом "♥♥♥, куда мне идти?" я задался больше, чем во всех других метроидваниях что я играл
That chimera ass do be jumping, i can confirm.
I just finished the game and honestly I love it. the movments are so smooth, is couls spend hours just hopping around. Overhall if you're looking for a nice platformer and like dungeons you should def play this ! The soundtrack is awsome and fit realy well into the aeestetic. Its a solid 9/10
A MUST HAVE. So worth it the blind playthrough I just finished. Amazing movement, mesmerizing environments, fantastic music, etc, etc, etc! Nitro Rad couldn't overstate how good this game is.
Very good gameplay, visuals give the vibe of old PSX & PS2, the combat is kind of harsh in the beginning, even more when you are trying to get used to the sizes of the attacks, but once you get used to it it's quite nice. The platforming is quite fun, most of the time you can easily get to areas you aren't supposed to get, and the geometry of said level is friendly enough that it supposes what you can do so you don't get stuck, there is so much movement tech you can perform, most of the time you pass in the game is just perfecting move sequence breaking. In my first playthrough (i still haven't finished it) i got upgrade B that improves upgrade A before i got upgrade A, thinking that upgrade B was a normal upgrade that i could further improves with duplicates of it, i got into an area that would allow me to get to an upgrade through the side you are supposed to leave after gathering the things in said area, leaving through the "entry" and arriving at an area where i needed an upgrade i could have gotten three hours ago, which i didn't know existed until the moment i noticed "i can't make this jump like this". Long story short, great game, would absolutely recommend if you love testing a game's limits in a way that doesn't break it.
