Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Having logged roughly 9 hours of playtime, I can confidently say that Project Motor Racing delivers a fantastic core experience. The game features a good selection of both tracks and cars, and the driving physics, tire modeling, and engine acoustics are exceptionally well-executed. My absolute favorite part of the game is the Campaign mode. It is fantastic to see that you can choose exactly how to start your racing journey whether you begin with 100k, 680k, or 2 million. This allows you to either work your way from the ground up or start immediately as a racing millionaire, depending on the career path you want to take. I recognize that the game had a very rough start, which explains why so many people are currently hating on it. While the community has voiced frustration over optimization, it is important to address the elephant in the room: the game currently lacks optimal performance, and these performance issues are noticeable. However, the developer's website explicitly states they are fully aware of these issues, and an update is already on the way to fix them. The foundational mechanics of this game are incredibly strong, giving it immense long-term potential. I have full confidence that the developers will continue to refine and improve the experience. If you love sim racing, this project deserves a genuine chance.

Hidden gem approved! Immersion, sound, and the racing feel are top-notch! CPU issues: The more AI you have, the more bugs occur (e.g., flickering, tire abrasion, overtaking). Fix: Limiting AI-driven cars to fewer than 20 solved all crucial issues and massively improved the experience. Rain: Visual rendering remains problematic. Collisions: Just Average. Clarification: Project Motor Racing gave me the best racing sim experience I ever had under certain conditions. I recently played AMS2, AC, ACC, ACR, AC Evo, rFactor2, RaceRoom, Dirt 2, etc.—just to name a few. I am fully aware that every other game is rated better on Steam. All tested in 4k. Version: 2.0.0.6

Much better than launch.
No triple screen support or vr still... please add triples at least. PLEASE. I will change my review when its added.
Well, it's not a horrible game, but it feels like it didn't reach the end of development. The game is too demanding for the quality, which sounds like some serious lack of optimization. Driving is not bad, but it doesn't hit that sweet spot. After playing just for a bit, I don't feel like running it again.
I get it now. I like the car selection in this game, especially the GT1 cars, but the physics are just terrible. all the cars feel like you're driving on an ice rink. If you want to drive a Zamboni then this game is perfect.
Game is awful. Not a sim at all. Graphics are reaaally dated. Optimization is non existent. But the worst thing is FFB. I felt like every car has different FFB designer. I will not tweak every car to be driveable. Honorable mention for the funniest collision sounds ever. It sound like popcorn popping. The game is like rennsport, dead from the beggining. Whole design is bad, game should have dissapear from the market. Get fixed and after year or two go back on steam.
I refunded at launch. Tried it again at 2.0, and have really enjoyed it. I7-12700 and 7900GRE, performance is good for me which I am surprised given what people have described. This game has the variety and career mode that I wanted in a PC sim. It got me back on the rig after taking weeks off. I got tired of GT3 and LMH in LMU, and AMS2 career mode is still far off. Highly recommend giving this game a shot - it is fun and actively being improved by Straight4.
