The true successor to Sim Tower! Very cheesy vibes, love the retro graphics which are quite polished and pleasant to watch. Love to see the life taking place step by step progressively, with all different kinds of offices and services and people living and working in the premises. I can't really find any cons in this game, I strongly recommend this title to those who loved Sim Tower and this genre. It is unique.

I've been looking for a game like this for a while. I'm happy I found it. Requires a lot of strategy and planning.
I grew up on SimTower and had been looking for a version that runs on a modern system. This seems like a great game so far and I think that it scratches that itch. So to the Dev's I just want to say thank you for this.
pretty much like sim tower, good game to kill some hours playing
I think the lack of system spontaneity meant there was no swing to the systems so no challenging course correction. The tower will gradually get dirty over time but it's not a decline that is fast enough and nor are there enough forms of decline to make it a complex challenge to solve? Or at least not interesting in the way a Oxygen Included or City Skylines can remain for far longer. I played sim towers a lot way back and I remember it was broken, but I also remember the random events and the somehow more memorable visuals making it hold my attention far longer despite probably also having simpler systems than this game. Admittedly it has been a while since I played though. I did like the little thoughts the people would have, it injected a bit of life into them.
The artistic style is cute, the music is nice and relaxing, and it feels like the best modern successor to Sim Tower that we have to date. I have come back to play this game several times, because I really want to like it. But unfortunately it fails in some very critical areas that make it not fun for me. 1) Adding wiring just feels like a grind and a waste of time, not contributing anything to strategy. I should not have to manually add 5 different types of pipes/wires to every single square in my tower. This is just annoying. 2) Adding floors mimics the original style of Sim Tower, but not in a good way. Any modern builder sim should be able to click + drag to place multiple things in a straight line. 3) A huge part of the game is trying to establish synergy between various constructions. Some things generate noise, and other things hate noise. Some things are smelly, and other things hate smells. Unfortunately, it is not obvious which things generate noise/smells until after you place them and look at the noise / smell views. Additionally, you have to place a construction and try to find a tenant before it will tell you what the general preferences of that kind of construction are. Give me the information up front so I can strategize. Don't make me constantly bulldoze and re-flow everything, it's just not fun.
Pretty fun for like a Sim Tower spiritual successor. There's just so much games out there man... Comparing to like what would you get for $10 or $20 elsewhere. There's specific reason I mention this. So you're building a skyscraper right. But what happens, there is in terms of amenities a correct way to do it and then a cost-cutting way of achieving growth... What it means is, in the ascension of your skyscraper, you basically build all the faciilties but in microcosmic bits, until you reach a certain financial stage then you just build more of the same things you built before, but 'right' this time, whilst renovating and fixing your legacy installations. So at a certain point you get to a 'feels like I've seen it all now' moment.... As the shops that populate amenities for residents etc also feel fairly interchangable. This ties into the game's many DLCs that are available, that I suspect adds this variety of flavor needed in the base game. But at what price? Anyways, there are difficulty settings, so thats nice... You could approach it more as a tycoon/business management game instead of a building/expansion game, trying to make balance to provide desperate upgrades for your building in perhaps a virtualized more competitive IRL market. Good stuff all around. I played like Tiny Tower and Doomsday Prepper and Fallout Shelter and stuff, like these systemic tower-building games, coming from that this is much more fleshed out and interactive. Good stuff all around.
