Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

GAMEPLAY: QUALIFIED Classic boomer-shooter design with tight shooting mechanics, fast movement, and solid level structure. However, the game starts to feel repetitive mid-way through — enemy variety is limited and level themes blur together.
Pretty much a love letter to the FPS giants of old. Enemy design is taken straight from DOOM, with a few originals thrown in. Reusing them in this way isn't bad as the developers have a great understanding of how to utilise them, and you can't really go wrong with the classic DOOM roster. There are some changes, though. Shotgunners are tankier than you'd expect and chain-gunners are now armoured, being able to take much more punishment. Pinkies are also faster and Lost Souls are even more annoying than usual. No enemy is a bullet-sponge, however, and they play off of each other really well. So many weapons. 3 shotguns (pump-action, full-auto, and a quad-barrel), a plasma rifle with homing projectiles, a sniper rifle/lightning-thrower combo, a grenade launcher with sticky bombs, a homing multi-target missile launcher, a revolver that shoots pentagrams (I'm not joking), a chain-gun, akimbo assault rifles, a regular side-arm pistol, an alien lava-globber, a rocket launcher with remote detonation, and good ol' fists. Movement is key. You can run around pretty fast (enable auto-sprint) and you have a double-jump, as well as an air/ground dash. Some fights are really hectic, so never stand still, pretty much all enemies are projectile-based so strafing around them mitigates most damage. The name of the game is to quickly swap weapons when you're empty instead of constantly reloading. A very unique art style, it just looks crispy and fresh. A perfect blend of retro and modern. Fantastic sound design, everything is just ear-candy. It's so satisfying to simply reload your guns and each weapon feels very weighty. Great music by Andrew Hulshult, really gets the blood pumping for the combat sections and the ambience is very tense. Each end-of-level jingle is also different based on how many kills you get and how many secrets you find. The higher the number, the more energetic the tune. The level design is something else. Levels are both huge and sprawling but also intricate and tight, they usually loop around themselves without feeling like you're backtracking. Good stuff. Overall, just a really fun classic FPS campaign. You can't go wrong with this one.
Is this game like Doom? Yes. Too much like Doom? Probably. Do I see that as an absolute positive? Definitely. I don't like Doom 3 and I'm not the biggest fan of the new trilogy, so I'm just glad to get a nice and gory 7-hour campaign of running around collecting keys and shooting legally distinct demons.
The game is not bad, but it felt too repetetive and level design is weak.
Do I recommend this game? For what I wanted, definitely not. For what it is, not at $25, but sure. Ever since Epic decided to pretend Unreal Tournament never existed and scoop up that Fortnite cash, I've been looking for a replacement to play with a friend. There's some sort of misconception that there's no audience for that type of game, when the reality is developers just keep utterly failing to create a product that actually satisfies that market. Prodeus got close. I'm not sure how, but through a crappy online search or misreading something, I was under the distinct impression this game had bots for multiplayer. The two things an Unreal Tournament replacement really needs are good bots AND a level editor. It's the only way this type of game can have any sort of community and attempt the longevity UT had. An audience so dedicated there were active communities still playing the latest one a decade after it was abandoned while still in alpha. So, Prodeus is a massive disappointment in my search. I can't add bots to custom multiplayer games and invite my friends. It has a very limited shelf life, even with the excellent addition of a map editor. That said, as a single-player game, it's really fun. The style is great. The combat is great. Everything is snappy and responsive (gameplay wise, the in-game map is kind of annoying). I definitely don't think it's worth $25. At a solid discount, I'm not that upset with my purchase, and I think it's a good fit for a certain audience. If you're one of the supposedly rare gamers looking for what I'm looking for. This will leave you bummed. If you want a good single player campaign, or prefer playing online with strangers (sounds toxic, but to each their own), this might be a good fit. That's a lot of caveats, so I feel the most fair answer is, "No, I don't recommend this game at this price."
A very good traditional boomer shooter clearly inspired by the OG Doom and likely by Brutal Doom too. Pros: - The visuals are great. The game combines the 3d environments with the 2D sprites very well. The art design is also on point. - The atmosphere of Brutal Doom is alive and well. Mowing down a horde of enemies with a minigun will never get boring. The blood and limbs flying everywhere will never not be satisfying. Absolute cinema. - The gameplay is super fun, it's simple, fast paced and very addictive. - The weapons and enemies might not be super original, but all work great in the game. - Level design is good and the game does not become boring thanks to it - The game knows when to end to avoid becoming repetitive. Overall, the pacing of the game and of every level is good. Cons: - I know the story in a classic Doom game is as important as in a typical adult movie, but still I was not able to fully understand what's going on. Perhaps I missed some story notes on the levels? - The enemy variety could have been better. Specifically, the Prodeus enemies being re-skins of normal enemies was a bit of a disappointment. - The game expects some backtracking to grab secrets and 100% the levels after you purchase the movement upgrades. This is Doom-like, not metroidvania, I don't think backtracking belongs here. - At some later levels it feels like the game suddenly wants to be a little bit like Doom Eternal with its movement upgrades. I like Doom Eternal a lot, but that moment still felt a bit like an identity crisis. - Funny mentioning it after complaining about the Doom identity, but the game could have used a few boss fights perhaps? Even the final level is more of a horde fight than a boss fight. Overall, I liked the game a lot, had an absolute blast playing it and definitely recommend.
Prodeus
