I had already played this one when it came out years ago on game pass. It has some interesting puzzle mechanics that makes it worth getting on sale. The narration is very annoying, and I would just turn it off.
By itself this is a pretty alright game ... but for what you get the price is just too high. You will get maybe 4 hours out of this game. Perhaps 5 if you haven't played many puzzlers before. These puzzles aren't really head scratchers either. They are all very straightforward and there's many repeats. If there are any that are difficult it's because their mechanics are poorly defined or poorly communicated and that's literally the only source of difficulty. All of that would be fine if the price point reflected that, but $20 is just far too high for what you get here, imho. Additionally, I had this game in my wish list for quite literally years and never once did it go on sale. Normally, I would say wait for a sale to pick this up, but it never goes on sale so you may as well just skip this one. I have a sneaking suspicion it's no accident that this overpriced game is never on sale.

Pneuma: Breath of Life is an extraordinary puzzle game that stands out with its visually stunning world and deeply immersive gameplay. From the moment you begin, the game envelops you in its beautiful environments, where vibrant colors and intricate designs make every setting feel unique and alive. What truly sets the game apart, though, is its innovative puzzle mechanics that involve manipulating the very fabric of the world around you. By changing your perception of reality, you can alter the environment itself, revealing new paths, shifting platforms, and unlocking hidden secrets. The puzzles in Pneuma: Breath of Life are intelligently crafted. They don't simply rely on brute force or trial and error but challenge your ability to think critically about how the world operates. Every puzzle feels like a mini philosophy lesson in itself, forcing you to consider not just the mechanics of the world but the nature of existence itself. It’s not just about solving puzzles—it's about discovering new ways to interact with your environment and understanding the purpose behind it. The game’s world is gorgeous and filled with detail, with each area presenting a new visual theme, from grand, ancient temples to surreal, abstract environments. These settings are more than just backdrops; they feel like an integral part of the puzzle-solving experience, almost like characters themselves that guide you through your journey. The voice acting and narration are fantastic, with Pneuma himself guiding you through the experience, offering insights, hints, and reflections on your progress. His voice adds a layer of depth to the game, making it feel like you’re part of a larger narrative about self-discovery and exploration. The soundtrack complements this, with a beautiful, ambient score that changes to match the tone of the environment, pulling you deeper into the world. Ultimately, Pneuma: Breath of Life offers not only a thought-provoking challenge but also a contemplative journey that pushes the boundaries of what a puzzle game can be. The combination of clever mechanics, stunning visuals, and a deeply philosophical narrative creates an unforgettable experience that will stay with you long after you’ve finished playing. If you're looking for a game that’s not only fun but also makes you think and feel, this is a must-play title. Highly recommend to anyone who loves games that are as much about exploration and introspection as they are about solving puzzles.
Really fun game. Great puzzles that are really interesting and different. Shame it's so short.
Great game 10/10
Beautiful art style with a decent story line. Most puzzles are self explanatory so you probably won't have to use a guide to solve any which definitely helps you to feel more satisfied in completing the game
100% GPU on GTX1060 OC 6gb in the main menu..
Played and beat this game on the Xbox. Good puzzle game, but a little overpriced in my opinion. Wait for a sale or discount.
best game NA
Amazing game, great puzzles and beautifull enviroments. The narator is a bit annoying monologue all the time, but still loved it.
