PlanetSide 2 remains a unique piece of gaming history, but it is undeniably a dying game struggling under the weight of its own age. Plagued by persistent technical difficulties, performance hitches, and years of neglected bugs, the game's core appeal is severely faded. The truly massive, epic-scale battles that defined the title are now a rare sight, making it hard to recommend to anyone looking for the grand sci-fi war zone it once promised.
Game was released in 2012, and has now become a cesspool for cheater VS cheater gameplay. Seeing that the Windows Kernel cheat is free and undetected. And the DEVS indirectly admitting that it costs to much to follow up on cheaters. But they will gladly take your money though.

Game crashes all the time
Cannot leave the tutorial after coming back to this game, It keeps crashing even after many attempts and alternation of my settings, still keeps crashing after the faction explanation.
I'm a returning player, and I was forced to play through the tutorial, which crashes after about 1–2 minutes. The tutorial doesn't save your progress, so you have to start all over again every time. I read that this might be related to server memory issues, and that a possible fix is to stay inside a vehicle for approximately 3 minutes. Unfortunately, that's not possible during the tutorial. This basically softlocks you from getting into an actual game. 10/10 unplayable in its current state. I'm not even sure if the devs are aware of the issue, as it seems to have been a problem for quite some time.
Crashes every 3 minutes or so, I tried coming back to see what's new and it has underwhelming amount of players.
Постоянно вылетает без ошибки. Даже не успеваю пройти обучение.
Every single time I start the game up in crashes within 5 minutes. Do not recommend!
Well, let me get my review on record for a game I haven't played recently. The game isn't what it was in its heyday, but I have a lot of fond memories here. I've been playing since the first day. My children were very young when I started, and they're in college now. I'm happy for all the fun times I had playing this game with them. I know it's pretty much dead now, but there was a time when my family and friends would spend entire weekends running behind enemy lines and changing that map back to glorious red from behind. Shout-out to the squads in blue and purple that would eventually see what we were doing and decide to come hunt us down. It was me my childhood friends and family laying all those mines down and blowing you and your 100+ squad off the map, you rebel scum. All those years, LOL. That's what was special about this game. You could be what you wanted and do what you wanted, and the kills were always so satisfying because there were no NPCs. Nobody just stood there waiting for you to shoot them. Unless, you know... you snuck way back behind enemy lines and they didn't realize you were even a threat. 😂 I see a couple of new games on the horizon trying to do what this game did, only differently, and it makes me smile. I'm hoping and praying that one day somebody finally makes PlanetSide 3, so maybe I can play it with my grandkids and tell them about how, back in our day, their old grandpop used to sneak behind enemy lines with their parents and terrorize entire platoons. Good times in this game. Good times.
