The year is 1983. The world teeters on the verge of destruction as the Cold War tightens its icy grip. East or West: trust no one, question everything. The fate of humanity rests in your hands as you pit spy versus spy in tactical Phantom Doctrine.

Оч крутая реализация шпионской стратегии! 8/10. Немного всё же затянули с концовкой и некоторыми моментами
Crashes to the table. (((((

Tried to get into this 3 times now but it's just not quite there. I wouldn't recommend it to fans of Xcom or anyone really. As an espionage thriller, the story is weak and as a game, well Xcom does the shooting better and InvisibleInc does the spy stuff better. Great idea but piss poor execution. It takes forever to move agents around a level and the tooltips on how all the mechanics work are half-baked and at times confusing. Most people will discover this in the tutorial. Yeah not great. Save your money and time.
В своем редком жанре, шпионаж на глобальной карте и пошаговые бои, лучший представитель...
Got softlocked on the second actual mission i tried, enemy went around a corner and just sat there forever... Even besides that, the game just isn't very good, TAA is the only form of anti aliasing (the game is a blurry and noisy mess, it doesn't SAY that it's TAA but it obviously is) also what's the point of having stealth mechanics if some of the random missions are legitimately impossible to stealth? isn't this supposed to be a game where you play as a KGB or CIA agency? and you can't even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stealth? really? You don't even start with the ability to lockpick, cameras instantly alert guards, and so do civillians which should probably be on my side in the first place? most of the area is inside russia yet the civs alert the enemy guards... I dunno this is just stupid. It's not like there's any sort of witness system it's just instant. The agents also look weird and uncanny aswell as having some pretty incredibly rubbish voice acting.. Stuff i can excuse if the game wasn't crap. Game doesn't really teach you about the campaign map either. Initially before loading a save i gained heat because i thought the enemy recon was my guys doing something because the game never mentions it. There's so many good games, this isn't one of them. Play something else. Also, 25gb is a bit silly for a game like this, c'mon man optimize your file sizes, txr25 has half that with much better graphics and high quality car and map models... Lol.
Fu##! It's the fu##in' boss.
I tried this game after reading some recommendation and I expected to not like it. I hate spies and cold war, and I have seen many X-Com clones that are just not good in any sense, and I've only seen one exception. This game blew me away. There is just more to it than meets the eye. Very appropriate for a spy thriller. P.S. The other great "X-Com clone" is Hard West. Just checked, made by the same people.
