Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Aug 25 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The amount of microtransactions and pay-to-progress faster is just disgusting especially with how they constantly stick it in your face at every opportunity in game. It reeks of corporate greed and is a real distraction from what is otherwise a rather enjoyable golf game. I will NEVER purchase DLC for this game simply because of how pressured 2K makes me feel to do so. I'm finishing 4-round tournaments at -30 to -50 and have all these upgrade points for my player but I cant use them with also spending "VC" which is the in-game currency you either pay real money for to get immediately or earn at an agonizingly slow pace if you do it on your own. I only bought this game b/c it was on sale and I'm already regretting it. FU2K
I don't play golf. I'm over 60... so, I've seen a lot of games and I've changed in what I'm looking for in games. Try the Demo. I did. Now I'm playing a couple hours a week with a friend on some of the most amazing historical courses. It costs $695 for the greens fees alone for Pebble Beach. I've played there several times already and it only cost me $70 for the legend edition! Fun game. I may even try learning how to level up my character and some clubs. For now, I'm just having fun actually playing golf. Thanks 2k.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

The actual gameplay is good and visually impressive. BUT, the menu system in 'Career Mode' is appallingly slow (minutes between clicking on a selection and anything happening). The matchplay option has recently been blighted with network error messages. This version of this iconic game is a total letdown.
Worth it on sale otherwise I would steer clear of it. Game is absolutely flooded with micro-transactions.
Let's face it. I'm gonna play the game. I love golf and I enjoy hopping in the game and crushing Tom Kim into oblivion. I don't think I can, in good conscience, recommend this game though. The game is buggy and time and again there are constant framerate hiccups. Where this game really does NOT shine though is the pay to play nature of the game. If you want gear. Pay. If you want clothes. Pay. If you want to upgrade your golfer (quickly). Pay. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ business model when all people want to do is have fun. If I want to pay to lighten my bank account unnecessarily I will play real golf instead.....which I did today.
Also Finger weg!!
The monetization of this game is just pure GREED! Player stat progression is locked behind the virtual currency which you gather painfully slow without purchasing in the shop. The game is monetized like a free-to-play but comes with a AAA price tag.
Garbage. All clubs and balls are cosmetic only. The game is designed to tempt you to spend real money to buy in-game currency you need to level up your golfers, buy outfits, buy clubs, etc. If you don't spend, I hope you're okay with glacial progress. Constant crashing until graphical settings were adjusted. Even now if you don't treat the slow, laggy menus with delicacy it'll crash. And you need to go through about 10 menus before and after each game you play on the career mode. Everything you do in this game, including those glacial menus, requires communication with a server. You'll never play career mode offline. Challenges such as hitting through a ring and landing in a tiny target are impossible with ridiculous wind settings and absurd shot shaping required. This game is nothing but a cash grab and it runs like excrement.
I dont really post about games. but the fact the 2K allowed this to even hit steam without fixing bugs and minor stutters is ridiculous... I've read a review that people have issues with load screen transitions, I can agree to this. my issue is the stutters mid swing and you can do anything about a massive slice because the stutter, I use 3 click and half the time its okay the other half i set my power the i go for my back swing and "stall" then stutter i miss the back swing same thing on the follow through. I excpect more from a 35 billion dollar company who bought out HB Studios and HB is worth 29 million.... so the fact we jumped from a 2k23 version that had some things here and there... but this years set "all we see is money" really shows in this one
Absolutely outstanding golf game. Love it. However the menus absolutely suck and are slow as ♥♥♥♥ why??
