About
Disc Golf Masters is a disc golf game made by disc golfers, for disc golfers. The studio builds it in the same factory where Latitude 64 presses its discs. If you play the sport, this is the game you have been waiting for.
Throw officially licensed discs from the brands already in your bag. Latitude 64, Discmania, Westside Discs, and Kastaplast. More brands are on the way. The same disc you bag in real life flies on your screen.
Every disc flies on its own flight characteristics. Hyzer, anhyzer, turnover, fade. Pick your angle, read the wind, and watch the disc curve the way you threw it. Miss it and you are throwing out from behind a tree, just like real life.
Take it online against players around the world, or grab friends for multiplayer up to four players. Chase the leaderboards and prove your game.
Build your player with discs, apparel, and accessories. Your bag, your look, your style on the course.
Early Access is the starting line, not the finish. We update Disc Golf Masters constantly. Check the roadmap on this page to see what is coming next. More courses, more discs, new skills, and real-life pro players joining as playable characters. We built the demo with the community all year, listened to real players, and everything we learned is in this version.
Disc Golf Masters comes from Spin Off Games, the studio behind the mobile hit Disc Golf Valley with over a million players. They are part of the House of Discs family. They play the sport. It shows.

I used to play disc golf before I became handicapped. I'm not joking when I say this game re-lit in me the love of the game. I thought I'd lost this game forever, only to sit back and watch JoMez (happily enough, I might add). But every time I'd watch I'd get envious. This game was not playing around when it said it was made by disc golfers for disc golfers - I am so thoroughly impressed by the discs, courses, outfits, challenges, and gameplay/physics. I am addicted. You wont regret this game!
the game is a lot of fun. however, it requires a constant internet connection to play single player. if you aren't connected to the internet the game won't even start up. if your internet drops out in the middle of a solo round the game stops and if it can't establish a connection it will force you to restart the game completely and you'll lose all progress and stats from that round. I had this happen to me when I was 8 holes into a perfect round. Ridiculous. I got this game to play solo and don't always have a strong internet connection. the fact that the game will lock up completely if i lose access to the internet for less than a minute makes it virtually unplayable for me.

Disc Golfers, Here me out! I come in from a "disc golf nut" perspective, and for the first time, I found a video game that gives me the "feels of painting a beautiful line" where I felt proud of the shot. For example, a drive put me out of position. I had a backdoor line with a forehand flex around a tree over a stream, and after I park it 6 feet away. I literally shouted YESSS! It's the right amount of difficulty. It makes the player think about golf shots and care about whether they have the right disc. It feels good. For the technical stuff. - Graphics look great. - The character animation and model are good. The step/throw look and feel good - Flight / disc physics are maybe a 8/10 - The game is super stable for me, no crashes, no major bugs or glitches or rule errors. - Great framerate but I have a beefcake machine What I feel this game still needs - Different Game Modes (tournaments, Tour/career, skillshot, putting, league) - Features and settings are a bit bare bones. - Needs variety on the character model. Man/Woman is not enough. If you're not going to have a character editor, then at least have 4 or 5 characters per gender. - I hope the full game gets more courses before they start to gate them by DLC - IRL courses would be nice. Maple Hill, USDGC, Fox Run - A few more disc manufacturers would be nice (Disccraft, MVP, Innova, etc...) - Replay, I want to save my best shots. trail for follow flights, rewind, pause, change camera to a catch-cam - Game needs a full range and practice putting basket. Disc Golfing: Great 5/5 Captures the fun of IRL very well Difficulty: Fair.3/5 Not hard to pass challenges, but the highest difficulty requires you to play good disc golf Fun: Good: 4/5: I can be proud of good shots, and the game allows you to accept a bad shot and recover. It's not like disc golf valley where every shot needs to be perfect to advance. Stability: Great 5/5 Not a single crash, glitch or graphical bug Content: Poor 2/5 Needs a lot more courses, discs, features, modes
I’ve played about 15 hours, unlocked all the solo discs, reached Pro on the Daily Challenge, played some online, and spent quite a bit of time with the demo. I’ve also played Disc Golf Valley since its inception. The core disc golf gameplay is ok, although the physics occasionally behave strangely. My bigger question is what Disc Golf Masters offers beyond essentially being Disc Golf Valley on PC with a visible character. DGV already gives me similar gameplay in a format I can play anywhere. For a $25 PC game, I want more depth around the player and progression. The biggest issue for me is how slow and clunky everything feels. If I throw a bad drive in the Daily Challenge, I have to watch the entire shot, wait for the distance calculation, transition to the next lie, pause, quit, go back through the menus, and reload the challenge. A simple "Restart Challenge" option would make a huge difference. I’d also like to be able to pause or quit immediately after throwing. That sluggishness shows up during normal play, too. If I’m putting and accidentally switch to a standstill, I have to switch back to putting, then change the putting style, watching each animation along the way. Small delays like this make basic controls feel much slower than they need to. I think a PC disc golf game has a big opportunity to make the player character matter. Something closer to the old Tiger Woods games would give me a reason to keep playing: build a golfer through a career mode, unlock meaningful progression, then take that character online. Currently, the characters mainly differ cosmetically while the discs determine everything. That also means some holes become dramatically easier once you own a particular disc. Player stats aren't necessarily the answer, but I’d like more solo modes and progression systems that make my character feel like my character. A few other things I’d like to see: * Better options for getting out from behind trees. Many positions feel essentially unrecoverable. * Proper roller support, including hyzer/anhyzer/roller indicators based on release angle. * An easier way to cancel a run-up without entering and exiting the overhead view. * Faster restarting, quitting, and general menu navigation. * More (and better) tutorials. Important mechanics like the run-up are not explained at all, and there's nothing to teach new players about disc golf. Introductions to basic concepts, like a tailwind tending to drop a putt, would be useful. There’s a decent disc golf foundation here. What would keep me playing is a stronger PC-specific identity: deeper career progression, more meaningful character development, and much faster quality-of-life interactions. My concern is that, instead of adding any of that, the game will follow the same path as DGV with season passes, purchasable in-game currency, disc collecting, and other mobile-style progression systems.
There's only 3 courses and I can't get 9 under par to unlock the last variation on the third course, which feels pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cause 9 under par is incredibly difficult when the wind is really strong and the progression gets harder at higher levels meaning it's harder to fill gaps in your bag. The flight physics are adequate but i feel like the landing/ground physics are also really punishing. A disc that lands hyzered usually digs in pretty good on grass, it doesn't go screaming away for another 25 meters like in this game. The inconsistency with throws is also pretty frustrating, it seems very difficult to actually dial in your throw and get it down to muscle memory, especially when the aiming wobbles like crazy while you take your shot.
Overall I enjoy the game, I was looking forward to another disc golf game but this one has some issues that really hold it back so I will be unfortunately focused on those. As it currently stands it still feels very much like the early access game it is, especially since you can play every layout of all the courses in a few hours. The game feels like it is using multiplayer as a screen to hide the lack of content and polish. Firstly, in 5 sessions in the game I have only quit once, the other 4 times the game locked up and had to be force quit. The stability clearly needs some work. Second, the throwing is fine but it feels very strange that the player can throw a forehand as far or further than a backhand. (This is basically never the case for pro level players for you non-disc golfers). Thirdly, putting is far too easy most of the time. But probably frustrating for new players as the tutorial doesn't explain the effects of wind which is the main contributor difficulty other than obvious obstacles like trees. How would a non-disc golfer know that a headwind will lift the disc? Also, let me set spin putting as my default putting stroke, or forehand the default shot. The visual character customization matters less than playstyle customization. Single player NEEDS to have a restart option in the pause menu. I am shooting for -9 and get a kick out of bounds or something that ruins the run early, why do I have to exit to the menu? That's just one quality of life feature that feels very obvious and weird to have been overlooked. A few misc. other things. The leaves are too consistent with slowing the disc even with the barest brush of contact. Sometimes there is no visual contact but the disc loses speed anyway. The ground play feels pretty bad, the disc will catch on seems in the textures, there are rocks that seems to skip more but there is no mud to slow the disc so you will skate into the water pretty much every time because of the slope. The unlocks don't show the flight numbers so your either have to look the disc up or just know the House of Discs lineup. Speaking of unlocks, where are the approach discs? If there is one disc every disc golfer carriers it is an overstable approach disc, why are there none here?
The road map has them headed in the wrong direction. they are adding pros that no one knows or cares about. theyy need to add more courses before they do that. there are only 3 courses last i played. prioities are in the wrong area.
$25 is a little steep for a game that is extremely bare. The game seems dead already, can't get into an online match.
In their rush to make money, they forgot to make courses. There are only four 9-hole courses for a $25 game. And their early access roadmap shows clearly there will only be one more that you get for your money before full release. I ran out of stuff to do within the first two hours. Repeating the same courses isn't rewarding or fun either. It's also incredibly lazy to not have Steam achievements for a game like this. That would be an easy win for them with the players and a reason to unlock the discs you don't want/need. Within 30 minutes of playing the game you'll realize having more discs doesn't provide the same value it does IRL because you don't have any physical detriments and your form is perfect right out of the box.
live service game with 0 offline capabilities. Their servers have had issues that resulted in people temporarily not being able to play at all. I dont feel good paying $25 and owning nothing.
