It's good but not great. I am playing it but I would not recommend it unless you know what you're getting into. It's not a citybuilder. It's a citybuilder-themed Balatro-style tile puzzle. The things you create will not look like cities whatsoever, and almost no parts of it will have any kind of visual coherence. There are no paths or roads. This ends up making the gameboard look uglier and uglier as you progress, even though there's nothing wrong with the art. it's just visually disjointed. The main appeal to me of a citybuilder is that each of your small choices add up to create an interconnected system that's greater than the sum of its parts, and the harmony of its rules expresses itself visually. Here, it just looks like a stamp collection. Any semblance of coherence is an illusion - traintracks lead from nowhere to nowhere, and fortified walls don't defend anything from anyone. It looks like they placed walls in the demo images in a way that has no effect in game, solely for visual appeal. There's also no economy. You can keep placing apiaries and make infinite honey, and it will never give you diminishing returns. You can get relics (or whatever they're called) to allow you to place more and more of the same type of building next to each other. The maps are pretty boring. Geography matters, but not in ways that are very interesting. They seem to have more or less of a given resource, but... something's missing. Progression is a strong point. It seems well-paced, and it's presented in a fascinating way. Is it fun? Yeah, for most of a run. I tried starting a second run once and realized I was already bored. It's not a boring game, it's just not that interesting in the way that it seems at first glance.

Fun little indie game that scratches the same itch Balatro does. It starts humble, but your combos can reach ludicrous amounts. Biggest critique is that the game is considerably too easy, even at highest difficulty. The lack of challenge made the grind for all achievements a bit monotonous - I failed only 2 out of 30+ runs. Also, game doesn't feel like a city builder, it's more of a puzzle grid with city sprites.

Imagine a euro style board game crossed with Balatro combo style scoring. If that sounds fun to you I highly recommend this game.

This just scratches an itch. A very enjoyable city building rougelike. This isn't to say that there isn't a ton to unlock, but I would happily pay for DLC if the developers would add more, very much enjoying this!
Every man needs two games: his shooter, and his other game. This is it. This is THE other game. The game to play when you want to play a game but aren't sure what kind of game. The game when you want a little bit of everything (except for PvP). The game for when you've played your murder game for the day but still want to game. This is the thinking mans stupid game, and the stupid mans thinking game. This is the game.
Really fun combo-wombo game! Plays more like Luck is A Landlord or an auto-battler or Balatro than similar card based city builders. Nice and tight decision loop, doesn't front-load too much complexity. Excellent value for $10!
We need official Chinese translation pls! Chinese people are really interested in such city-construction games, but they are missing the chance of trying this game because of unfamiliar English words. AI should work well in such translation job!
