About

Peripeteia is a cyberpunk immersive sim set in alternate-history Poland – a first-and-third-person game mixing shooter, stealth and RPG mechanics with an unexplored setting and original ideas.
You are Marie: a cybernetic mercenary in a post-Soviet city full of corruption and opportunity, where nations, factions and ideologies clash. You will use your wits, tact, and raw violent nature to complete tasks shrouded in conspiracy and mystery. Logic, skill and ruthless cunning win the day in an interactive world – but when that fails, a loaded gun and the ability to climb virtually anywhere, will suffice.
Levels so vast they take hours to explore. Every tower, sewer, rooftop and basement is real and reachable. No quest markers. No correct path. If you can see a ledge, Marie can grab it. Forge your own routes with a sabre jammed into a wall or a well-placed crate. Get lost. Find something no one else found. That's the point.
Over 100 weapons – Cold War surplus, prototype rarities, stolen NATO hardware. Every magazine, every bullet, every attachment exists as a physical object in your inventory. Strip enemy weapons for parts. Transfer your gear between missions. Build your stash in Marie's basement. Plan your loadout or improvise when everything goes wrong.
Hack terminals. Possess enemies. Manipulate factions against each other. Sneak through the vents, talk your way past the guards, or come in loud with a stolen PKM. Every mission is a sandbox. Your choices determine who lives, who dies, and whose flag flies over the city.
Marie is living military surplus – powerful but not invincible. Manage your implants, ration your energy, scavenge what you can. The city doesn't care about you. Its factions will use you and discard you.
An unforgettable soundtrack featuring Sewerslvt, Ed Harrison (Neotokyo, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided) and a dozen other amazing artists. Drum and bass, atmospheric ambience, breakcore. Post-Soviet brutalism rendered in the grit of the early 2000s with modern lighting. Rain on concrete. Every second of this city sounds and looks exactly as dark as it should.

An immersive sim for people who think the genre never got the sequel it deserved.

Reminds me so much of blame! so I had to try it, it is peak.
Apparently the dev is super transphobic and I'm totally down with that, recommending this to everyone I know

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ok after calming down ill give an actual response to how this game plays and if you should get it pros: -the gameplay is very nice and fluid. it gives a variety of solutions to may of your problems you encounter and even realise that the whole map is connected. - the guns! they are very nice and have good sound design. - THE ART STYLE. it is absolutely adorable and the game looks beautiful (not to mention how optimised it is) -the story. you basically forge your own path in this game. you can choose what missions you accept and which faction to betray or kill. it is very cool and i think its a very welcome addition. and now.... THE CONS- -the ai is absolutely horrendous. sometimes they are blind. and sometimes they can see from far away. not to mention a SPECIFIC LEVEL WHICH MADE ME CRASHOUT. -the difficulty. this isnt more of a con i see it as a pro but the difficulty does go out of hand sometimes. -guidance. the game does absolutely no handholding when it comes to where to go. you just gotta wing it and use the journal so those who are used to a marker or a MAP be warned. you wont get that here. -the shop. shopping in this game is incredibly unbalanced. sometimes you get a normal shop and sometimes the only reason that shop should exist for the player is to dump all the loot you got while playing a level. you dont have a consistent way of getting stuff you need. like ammo for weapons or meds. -tutorial. the game doesnt give you practically any way to learn the game. and its controls. i had to look up multiple times on the web where to find stuff or how to do something or where to go. its EXTREMLY annoying when you dont get any help whatsoever. -and lastly THE TOWER. i am dedicating an entire damn level to this con list because of how bs it is. the amount of bugs in one level is absolutely horrendous the ai has aimbot and moves at the speed of sound. you cant save most of the time and the game doesnt guide you to safe zones. in conclusion. this one level made me crash out so hard i wont be touching it until it comes out of early access and is fully developed. because i think the majority of people also will agree that this particular level made them rip theyre scalp off out of absolute boiling rage. in conclusion. the game is heading in a direction where i could see it getting alot of fans and being a generally fantastic game. but with the amount of bugs for early access i do not reccommend getting this game. (mainly because of the amount of anger youll get while playing the tower and just generally minor bugs that will hinder your gameplay and in turn ruin the fun your having. though if you DO decide to get it i STRONGLY reccommend writing a review of what you noticed needed fixing and in general supporting the dev!

Really cool but unfortunately it stutters on steam deck. Every 1-2 min it freezes for ~10 seconds. will definitely return once this releases!
It's got goods and bads. The actual gameplay, graphics, artstyle and vibe is great. Soundtrack features several artists and songs I quite enjoy. Gunplay and inventory system is estoric in a fun way if you enjoy that kind of style. There's a mildly interesting story with multiple factions you can align with with it tangibly affecting progression depending on who you go with. If I had to describe the game in a single sentance, I'd call it Cyberpunk 2077 x Fallout x STALKER. Onto the negatives however, from least to most impactful -Enemy ai is meh -Despite the great soundtrack, the music is not used competently. It plays based on your location with little care to what is actually going on in the room. High energy music was great when I had my first gunfight in there but having to listen to the song start over 5 times because you got lost when there's not enemies gets old -Level design isn't exactly fantastic when accounting for gameplay flowing well, very easy to get lost, stuck, miss the hidden entrance and to just straight up die to uncommunicated map hazards -The performance at least on my machine (specs attached) wasn't great. Not horrible, certainly not fantastic -The Cyberpunk aspect of the game is hard limited by the energy system. Above your health bar is an energy bar and to use your cybernetics especially multiple at once, you consume a LOT of energy. This is INCREDIBLY annoying as it does not regen over time, does not regen on kill, no rest points to restore it, only consumbles which you will quickly burn through the limited supply of early in the level. -Pretty horrible saving and loading system. If there's a quicksave button I have not been informed, saving is annoying and has to be done manually. Autosave only saves the beginning of each level and if you die you will revert to that save if you haven't manually saved. Additionally, manually saving and loading too often can and has broken quest objects and if that happens then you gotta start over -I would not recommend this game for the price it's at. Even on sale it seems a hint steep. One could argue the price is fair for the amount of content but it's quite hard to enjoy said content. I recommend you know for damn sure you know what you're getting into before dropping the cash else you''ll likely be refunding quickly. A demo is available here on Steam. TL:DR, has good content graphics music etc, just various bugs and questionable descisions may hamper your experience. All for a higher than expected price, do your research before buying
В начале чилловая засчёт музыки и атмосферы. Потом какая-то страшилка.
