Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.25/day in the week to Aug 3 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Pathologic 3 is a psychological horror game where you have only 12 days to save a town from a mysterious plague.
You are Daniil Dankovsky: physician, researcher, prodigy. Your research into the nature of death has brought you to this remote town deep in the eastern steppe, looking for a man said to be immortal.
But the outbreak of a deadly contagion sweeps through the town. The immortal man is dead. You failed to stop it.
Now you must return to the beginning. Fix your mistakes. Save the town.
Every minute counts. Save them all, discover the secrets of immortality... don't go mad in the process.
Bring your medical training to bear. Observation and knowledge are your tools. Work with patients face-to-face.
Examine the sick and make diagnoses. Each patient is a unique story — and a medical mystery. They may lie, omit the truth, or hide their motives. You must separate fact from fiction, and identify the real symptoms. Step by step, you'll get closer to developing a vaccine that could change everything.
Fight for every new day. Ensure the town's survival by imposing your own rules: enforce quarantines, confiscate precious medicine, vaccinate the population, suppress riots, deploy patrols, and declare curfews.
You will make mistakes, face their consequences, and unlock new decrees. Your actions will shape the town—even if the people grow to hate you for it. Power is in your hands. It's up to you whether the streets will see gunfire or fireworks.
Made a mistake? Go back, and fix it.
Time is your tool for navigating a narrative web filled with moral dilemmas and branching paths. Rewind if you think you could have done better. Keep your eye on your ultimate goal—even if the road there is paved with sacrifices.
How far will you go to find the truth? Your mental state directly affects your actions, and even how you interpret events. Falling into apathy or wandering into mania may lead you to new insights... or to your death.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, GOG publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

A storytelling marvel. Quite different from the previous Pathologic experiences, and a little less punishing, but getting lost in its multilayered non-linear narration is so incredibly addictive and satisfying. Dankovskii is literally me (simping for Burakh)
Best game in my library
I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews I read here because otherwise I would have missed out on one of my favourite games in recent memory. This thing has gripped me narratively in a way that I think only Disco Elysium has ever managed otherwise. Between sessions of playing the game I've spent so much time thinking of the insane mindmap web and what I could change in it to fix problems I've been having. I've been dreaming of time loop nonsense. I have the urge to stub my toe on trash bins. It's great! I can understand why people who've played and enjoyed Classic/2 would not like this, especially if the masochistic enjoyment of them being brutal experiences is what they love about it. I think that contrast is interesting in and of itself though. This is Daniil Dankovsky's (not-so-)fun Steppe vacation, and the complete lack of survival mechanics besides him just trying to survive his own myriad neuroses is kind of the point, right? He's so detached from this town (at least to begin with, dependent mostly on how you choose to play him) that the small details cease to matter. He's in a position of privilege that means he doesn't really have to care about all that anyway. His idealism is a strength and a fundamental flaw. Your real fight, most of the time, is against him being a self-aggrandizing pompous prick in the majority of conversations, and how on top of everything else this can lose you vital information when he sees himself as being above the culture he's immersed in. And yeah, sure, all of those things still co-existed with survival systems in Classic, I get that. But there's enough being layered on narratively here for it to justify itself imo. I'm not saying it's perfectly implemented by any means. There were a lot of friction points I had with some of the systems that I don't think were the intended friction. I also think they could have been way stingier with resources to crank up the stress of repeating days so often, while still having it be 'fair' (as much of a tainted word that is in the context of this series lol). But I do think it's worth stressing that as someone who was very interested in Pathologic conceptually but was put off by the difficulty, this was the perfect entry point and gateway drug. It gave me the ability to go back and start P2, despite knowing full well that is going to kick my ass repeatedly. But now I look forward to it :) 10/10 would optimise the plague out of existence on a spreadsheet again. The Shabnak isn't real she can't hurt you
am i crazy or did they swap the voicelines for mania and apathy like why does he sound so angry when he's apathetic and calm when he's manic. it was QUIET in THANATICA!!!!!!!!!
Lingua latina non penis canina !

After playing the whole game and getting two of the possible endings I can say, with certainty, that Pathologic 3 is a worthy sequel to the remake series started with the Haruspex's route. It is worthy but not as good definitely, because while Ice-Pick Lodge really tried hard making something new in the mechanics, altogether different from Pathologic 2 and from everything else in general, it does feel a bit half-baked. I'm not talking about the game as a whole, but about the gameplay, which is the first thing I would like to start writing about. First of all, this is not a survival as the previous game was. It's not even open-world. The changes were well-appreciated, and definitely made the game less stressing, but more annoying occasionally. Having too much apathy, and loosing amalgam while not being able to run made me genuinely hate the game for one moment. Still, the gameplay makes this game much more accessible than Pathologic 2. One of the best things is actually the ability to go back and forward in time, to fix past and continue the story. Amalgam (necessary to change day and to load a save after dying) is a very hard resource to manage on paper, but can be easily farmed. There are still some events that can't be undone, and I wish the player had the chance to experience everything the game has to offer without creating another save profile. Regarding the story, it's actually the same as the other games, simply from a different perspective. The dialogues sometimes felt more superficial than the ones of 2, especially the further you go in the game. Of course, thanks also to the game not being fully open-world, the graphics are a big improvement and the optimization is good, but I would have preferred to not see, at least, loading screens when entering or leaving a building. Pathologic 2 remains my favorite videogame of all time, and the route of Bachelor Daniil Dankovsky doesn't fully manage to reach it. Nevertheless, I love the boldness of the developers, who decided to craft something different from what was a success already. Pathologic 3, in its gameplay mechanics, is extremely original and unconventional, and I do recommend it.
