Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.25/day in the week to Aug 3 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Pathologic 3 is a psychological horror game where you have only 12 days to save a town from a mysterious plague.
You are Daniil Dankovsky: physician, researcher, prodigy. Your research into the nature of death has brought you to this remote town deep in the eastern steppe, looking for a man said to be immortal.
But the outbreak of a deadly contagion sweeps through the town. The immortal man is dead. You failed to stop it.
Now you must return to the beginning. Fix your mistakes. Save the town.
Every minute counts. Save them all, discover the secrets of immortality... don't go mad in the process.
Bring your medical training to bear. Observation and knowledge are your tools. Work with patients face-to-face.
Examine the sick and make diagnoses. Each patient is a unique story — and a medical mystery. They may lie, omit the truth, or hide their motives. You must separate fact from fiction, and identify the real symptoms. Step by step, you'll get closer to developing a vaccine that could change everything.
Fight for every new day. Ensure the town's survival by imposing your own rules: enforce quarantines, confiscate precious medicine, vaccinate the population, suppress riots, deploy patrols, and declare curfews.
You will make mistakes, face their consequences, and unlock new decrees. Your actions will shape the town—even if the people grow to hate you for it. Power is in your hands. It's up to you whether the streets will see gunfire or fireworks.
Made a mistake? Go back, and fix it.
Time is your tool for navigating a narrative web filled with moral dilemmas and branching paths. Rewind if you think you could have done better. Keep your eye on your ultimate goal—even if the road there is paved with sacrifices.
How far will you go to find the truth? Your mental state directly affects your actions, and even how you interpret events. Falling into apathy or wandering into mania may lead you to new insights... or to your death.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, GOG publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
it is not near the feeling of playing Pathlogic 2. But it is good.

you will torture yourself if you do not abide by the following advice: don't die its a waste - its not worth it - prevent dying at any cost - DO NOT turn apathetic it's 100 times easier to heal than to replenish time. Don't try to stock up on items they wont matter the next day anyway... also Shabnak isn't real, you're delusional the people don't like and nothing makes sense. Enjoy
I have only played this release from the series. Pretty fun story game with some odd characters. The story is interesting, with choices majorly impacting the story. I would say about 50hrs of casual gameplay at least, without guide. Going to need to be able to remember a lot and figure some unusual things out (Like the mechanics... trying to be vague here) Some of the negatives are -Mechanics are poorly explained -Astonishing amount of bugs. -Almost too much vague/cryptic information -Some of their gameplay mechanics can be tedious/annoying. -Some of their mini-games are not fun, but also not required (I skipped most opportunities) -Hostile districts are fun at first, then become tedious
This game has such very cool writing that its a shame its locked behind such mind numbing gameplay. I hope that if they ever make a pathologic 4 that they just fully commit to the game being radically different for each character. As it stands, all the doctering stuff you get to do is very cool and same with the decrees and getting to see how they effect the town, however between those sections you have to play a much worse version of patho 2. I wish the going around town part was either much more fleshed out or had been scrapped all together, with an expansion on the town management stuff being the main gameplay loop. I enjoyed my time with the game but I dont think I could stomach another moment of playing the actual game part of this "game"
Play pathologic 2 first, that is a really good game. I can see how Ice-Pick Lodge tried to avoid making Bachelor's route just Patho2 with slightly different story, but Patho 3's story is less engaging and the gameplay mechanics failed to grip me. I think this game need maybe another year to connect different mechanics together to make something as engaging as 2, but I will still try to finish this. At least the bull we bought in 2 is cannon now!
я наверное за всю свою жизнь меньше прочитал, чем за 25 минут обычной игры не пацаны сами свои тонны текста вчитывайтесь
Warning: This is more of an inane ramble than a review. So apologies ahead of time. "Debēo medicinam sumere" First, I'd like to preface: Pathologic 3 is now up there as one of my favorite video games. I spent over 90 hours in it and loved the hell out of every minute. I still maintain that Pathologic 2 is an underrated masterpiece but Pathologic 3 is also a masterpiece. It also plays very differently, which might not look it at a glance but it is very unique from Pathologic 2. Which in my view is a very good thing, maintaining Pathologic 2 as the enduring nail biting, beautiful nightmare for eternity. Finishing Pathologic 3 makes P2 feel like a fresh experience again and vice- versa. My first impulse when I first booted up the game was to basically sprint my character from his arrival in town to whatever objective needed to be done... after a few hours, realized... Don't play this like Pathologic 2, that's a mistake. My interest is very piqued for what they do with Pathologic from Clara's perspective, so hoping there will be a Pathologic 4. Maybe in her story she'll wake up in a grave but like the doom- guy, "I'll cure this plague by laying hands with miracles... and this giant shotgun I found". Ice Pick lodge managed to make a sequel to one of the most notoriously challenging and dour survival horror games by turning that concept on it's head just enough to make it feel different and fresh. The results are amazing, especially when the mechanics fall into place for the player. Whereas in Pathologic 2 time isn't on your side, you miss something... well too bad. Just thank your lucky stars you made it to the end of the day. Pathologic 3 is: did you miss something? Well... (if you intend to play but want to go in blind don't reveal the spoiler)
Go back and fix it or don't, or cause a whole new chain of events that the good doctor has to fix. The game is essentially ground hog day, your up-tight big city Doctor gained the power of time travel after initially botching the handling of the plague and then offing himself with his tiny little "ladies" Derringer pistol. It also results in a lot of levity because not only is Danil Dankovsky a sarcastic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, for example "I don't remember, steal thy neighbors corpse, from the 10 commandments or the Hippocratic oath" or the casual you're a "back water hick" comment. Now add- in time travel to the mix, which the characters around him notice that he seems to everywhere at almost all times and also be where no one could possibly anticipate him to be, then add that big chip on his shoulder... Well, lets say I had quite a few belly laughs, which is something I wasn't anticipating from a Pathologic game.
The writing is amazing, engaging character dialogs with surprisingly humorous moments. I found the story engaging, filled with mystery and excitement. I was definitely invested. The character of Danil Dankovsky is also amazing. He's snooty, posh, clever, intelligent, funny to the point of being hilarious (sometimes intentionally and sometimes not) fish out of water. I love him. Never change, Dankovsky. Pathologic 3 is a first person survival horror game but more akin to a semi- open world adventure game. In some ways, it reminded me of point and click adventure games (which were my favorite games in the early 90's). It's also one of the best "detective" games I've ever played. Sometimes you really have to flex your brain matter to solve problems. Choice and consequence, like Pathologic 2 is a huge mechanic in this game but there is more versatility to mold your the outcomes. There are still stats that you have to maintain, but unlike the hunger, thirst, reputation, infection level/immunity etc... of Pathologic 2. Your big stats in this game are: Apathy and Mania. Apathy when things get too dull like walking somewhere just makes him bored, or a conversation depresses him. Mania which hypes him up, makes him hyper alert and fast but he's also so hyper that he can't communicate to people without raving and is also risking complete heart failure. This mechanic seems divisive amongst the player base but I loved it and it makes sense if you understand the character.
When I played this game, something about how fast the apathy and mania raised or drained... felt familiar. Danil Dankovsky is a drug addict, which is unfolded very subtlety through dialog and the story. Late nights in Thanatica (his lab) taking amphetamines to stay up late to keep him going to do his research and morphine to dull his emotions/inadequacies and slow himself down to catch a few hours sleep. That's his routine. So essentially he needs to take drugs just to be normal, which doesn't last long... Ironically too, he has big feelings about other people taking drugs... He's a bit of hypocrite.
Balancing items and your stats is still essential... More forgiving and accessible than Pathologic 2 but it's not easy. Get in the rhythm, then you'll feel like a master of reality... Unless you get too cocky, rush blindly without thought, squander your resources. Then the game will punish you, keep doing it and it'll take it's disappointment of your complete ineptitude out on your save file. Just so you know, the game will warn you about certain consequences that you can't go back on... Take those warnings seriously. Those warning are not euphemisms. Visually everything is very artistic and interesting, the town itself is it's own story by just looking at the impossible structures, the buildings, even in the interiors you will find something that draws the eye. You get a sense of the town's culture just from the excellent art design, nothing feels copy pasted in this game world. Graphically, this game is a looker. I love the dialog interactions, where the NPC's are essentially face to face with you. It's gives this uncanny effect like they're actually reacting to you with body language. Like I'm reading the dialog going "really?" then I hard stare at them on my monitor but there's almost like an effect like they're reacting to my reaction, sometimes wide eyed or they look down quickly. Yeah I know it's also mostly text boxes, but it still conveys this feeling that I'm actually having a conversation with the NPC's. Really good animation and art style, I really want to drive this home. Sound and music is also great! I'd add more text to laud but my apathy meter is draining faster and faster as I try find the proper words to convey but I'm fumbling them, so now I'm spiraling. Also! As of writing, the development team have been consistently taking feedback from the forums and rolling out patches/fixes. You can tell they care deeply for this project and it really shows. Heavily recommend.
