Prices

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.71/day in the week to Aug 31 → 25.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In Pathogenic, you are the disease. Experience a visceral 2D roguelike twin-stick shooter where you play as a lone parasite fighting a desperate war against the immune system. Your goal is simple: infect and conquer your human host.

To survive, you must adapt. Hunt down enemy cells, rip out their organelles, and graft them onto your own body. Evolve from a simple cell into a complex engine of destruction. Create powerful, game-breaking builds and become the ultimate pathogen.

Loot, graft, and assemble your parasite from dozens of unique organelles. Combine flagella for movement, mitochondria for power, secretors for ranged attacks, and spikes for melee combat. Chain organelle effects and discover powerful synergies to build an unstoppable disease vector.

Battle a diverse roster of enemies, from basic immune cells like macrophages and T cells to rival parasites such as tapeworms or protozoa. Formidable bosses are lurking deep within the host's organs.

Collect plasmid fragments to permanently upgrade your parasite's plasmid tree between runs. Each parasite will have it's own upgrade tree allowing for a range of builds to suit your preferred playstyle.

Navigate the procedurally generated organic landscape of the human body. Travel through distinct biomes like the branching pathways of the lungs, the pulsating chambers of the heart, and the complex neural network of the brain.
Our detailed, colorful world is powered by a soft-body physics simulation, giving every cell, enemy, and projectile a uniquely satisfying organic feel. The combination of hand-crafted design and procedural generation ensures endless variety - each run offers a fresh and challenging gameplay experience.

Reviews
We need to optimize the operational logic. If you happen to collect enough DNA to meet the mutation requirements while in the middle of upgrading an organelle in the Cell Editor, the game will completely ignore your current upgrade action and automatically switch to the mutation selection. There is no secondary menu or confirmation prompt whatsoever. If it were just a simple stat-boost mutation, it wouldn't be that game-breaking. However, since this specific option changes all of your organelles, there absolutely should be a secondary confirmation menu to ensure the player actually intends to select it. I believe the current design is unreasonable, and it completely ruined what was otherwise an incredibly satisfying run for me. The seed code is 8WT46HAM—you're more than welcome to try it out yourselves.

Fun but once you stary climbing the levels the game becomes cheap. Small rooms to pin you in then dropping enemies right on top of you. Insane HP increases game becomes a DPS check. Visual noise becomes insane to blind you from seeing off screen hit. Some attacks just come out instantly with no room to react.
So while the theme is cool, the game itself has a severe lack of build variety and in general way too few weapons/ passive items. It gets boring very fast and also it ramps the difficulty like crazy only towards the end of the run making you waste a lot of time being bored getting back there just to get a weak build that makes fighting enemies later a slog. Every run felt roughly the same and the only variety comes with different classes but the limited build choices per run + way too small item pool kills it quick. (We are roughly missing 3x the items to make it moderately non repetitive and most of the items are already a + x% dmg etc. increase instead of gameplay changing things)
Fun gameplay loop and a great love-letter to microbiology. Good art and music too. Can't wait to get good at it.
roguelike spore sprinkled with immunology
Great game at first, and then you realize there's 0 balance : i manage to have 3 times +40 damages, +40 attack speed with less than two green hearts, i have +300% damage on my 4 weapons that dont use sugar : mobs are still tanks with a litteral gattling that does 200+ damage per hit. Scalling mob hp feels like a lie, i guess it's what it is. And the lung area : total ♥♥♥♥, you get sucked into bomb in very small rooms, you pop into a room with a mob on you in less than half a second later. The game feels great and should be. But balance feels like sh*t...

Very fun game with a lot of re-playability. It is basically a race to see how fast you can make your most broken build to give the game a bullet rinse! There are many different ways to power up and depending on the weapon and item synergies you can become instantly OP or you may have created your own kryptonite. The difficulty levels using "antibiotics" can be increased once you defeat the basic first run through of the game. The different bio / non-bio characters become the way to eventually infect the host with a fatal pathogen. I love it!!!
This is a cool game, the environmental effects and enemy attack effects are freaking disgusting.、 Imagine fighting five ROCKs at the same time inside a tiny and dirty bathroom, while the shower, floor drain, and toilet are all spraying water directly into your face. And while you're trying to dodge enemy attacks, you also have to avoid environmental effects that can suck you into a toilet and then blast sh$t all over your face. I've played for 26 hours. Even though I've figured out builds that can give me basically infinite EXP and money, I still haven't managed to beat the game even once. Every single boss can take more than half your HP within seconds. and the extra-life system, like the one in The Binding of Isaac, feels completely pointless. And then there's the Heart boss. If you don't get specific items and build around them in a very specific way, you literally can't even reach the boss. And the melee weapons? They're just ridiculously high-risk and garbage design. From start to finish, all you really need to do is find a few specific combinations, stack your damage as high as possible, so you can kill every enemy within a few seconds which means avoiding all disgusting environmental and attack effects. But if you can't find those specific combinations—or if you can't even find a decent, usable ranged weapon—you might not even be able to beat the bosses in the first few stages. It doesn't matter how much EXP or money you have. Anyone who has played this game for more than 10 hours must have some kind of masochistic tendency. I've played this long because I respect the money I spent on the game, and I wanted to experience the full game. By the way, more than 20 hours of meta-progression bonuses and they barely do anything. It's basically the same as most of the useless choices you get when leveling up in game. Oh,and every time you fail, the UI tell you to beat the Heart boss so you can gain bonuses to help you beat the game. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys being tortured and hates positive feedback.
