Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 7 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

do NOT be fooled by the simple controls and cute appearance, this game is hard as nuts. i still havent beaten patapon 1
Vou começar dizendo a pior qualidade desse jogo... a repetição.

goated game, we need 3
Papaya! (This game is as good as I remember it, now it looks better. My only regret is that Patapon 3 wasn't lucky enough to get a remaster.)
PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY revives two remarkably unconventional games whose mixture of rhythm, strategy, action, and role-playing mechanics still feels distinctive years after their original appearances. Developed by SAS CO.,LTD. and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., the collection combines PATAPON and PATAPON 2 into one package, allowing players to experience the beginnings and subsequent expansion of the series. Rather than controlling a traditional hero directly, the player becomes a deity worshipped by the Patapon tribe and must guide these peculiar one-eyed warriors on their long journey toward the legendary Earthend. It is a wonderfully strange premise, but the unusual method of commanding the tribe is what gives the collection its lasting personality. Commands are delivered through four sacred drums, with different rhythmic combinations telling the Patapons to march, attack, defend, or perform other actions. Learning these patterns is straightforward, yet maintaining them while reacting to enemies becomes increasingly challenging. The player must watch the battlefield, anticipate danger, decide which command is appropriate, and then execute its rhythm accurately. Successful sequences create an enjoyable flow as the Patapons chant and move in synchronization with the music. Losing that rhythm can immediately interrupt an otherwise successful assault, making concentration almost as important as tactical planning. Beneath the musical controls is a surprisingly substantial army-management system. Different Patapon classes fulfill specialized roles, forcing players to think about the composition of their forces rather than relying purely on rhythmic skill. Hatapon acts as the essential flag bearer around whom the army advances, Tatepons provide defensive strength with their shields, and Yumipons contribute ranged attacks with bows. Choosing suitable units and preparing them properly can determine whether a difficult encounter becomes manageable or overwhelming. Progression therefore has an RPG quality, as players gradually develop stronger forces while learning how different warriors perform under particular battlefield conditions. The inclusion of both games is especially valuable because PATAPON 2 demonstrates how much the original concept could be expanded without sacrificing its identity. PATAPON establishes the essential vocabulary of rhythmic commands, combat, progression, resource gathering, and army preparation. The sequel takes that established foundation and develops it further, providing additional depth and variety. Playing them sequentially creates a natural progression because skills learned during the first adventure remain relevant when moving into the second. Instead of feeling like two unrelated titles bundled together, they function as complementary stages in the evolution of the same inventive idea. Presentation remains one of the collection's strongest qualities. The Patapons are visually simple creatures dominated by enormous expressive eyes, yet their movements and reactions give them considerable personality. Their silhouettes contrast strongly against colorful environments and oversized enemies, producing an art direction that remains instantly recognizable. It does not depend on realism or technical spectacle to make an impression. The clean shapes also make battlefield information relatively easy to understand even when numerous characters are moving simultaneously. Sound is even more fundamental because the music is integrated directly into the mechanics. The repeated chants accompanying commands are memorable and gradually teach the player how to recognize patterns almost instinctively. Once the rhythm becomes familiar, battles can develop an almost hypnotic momentum in which commanding and listening feel like parts of the same action. This connection between audio and gameplay is one reason PATAPON remains unusual. Music is not simply decoration placed over combat; it is effectively the language through which the player communicates with the army. That unusual structure also creates some of the collection's greatest potential frustrations. Rhythm is mandatory rather than optional, so players who have difficulty maintaining timing may struggle even when they understand the tactical solution to an encounter. Repetition is another significant element. Commands are intentionally performed again and again throughout battles, while progression can involve gathering resources and strengthening units before tackling greater challenges. Players who enjoy incremental development and mastering systems will probably appreciate this cycle, but anyone expecting rapid narrative progression or constantly changing mechanics may find portions of the experience repetitive. The PC edition retains a controller-focused design, and mouse control is not supported. This is understandable considering how naturally the four rhythmic inputs translate to controller buttons, although players expecting conventional PC control options should keep the limitation in mind. The game targets smooth modern presentation while remaining visually faithful to the distinctive style of the originals. Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing, and multiple interface and subtitle language options provide useful modern conveniences around what is otherwise a deliberately faithful recreation of the classic experiences. Narratively, PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY is more charming than complex. The quest for Earthend provides direction, but much of the emotional appeal comes from watching the Patapons themselves. Their loyalty, enthusiastic chanting, humorous appearance, and determination make the player feel responsible for a tiny civilization rather than simply controlling disposable combat units. The relationship between deity and followers gives even routine marching sequences a sense of purpose. The game communicates much of its character through sound and animation instead of relying on lengthy dialogue or elaborate cinematics. The greatest achievement of PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY is that its central concept still has few direct equivalents. Rhythm games are common, tactical games are plentiful, and RPG progression systems appear everywhere, but combining all three into a musical battlefield command system remains wonderfully uncommon. Battles demand preparation before deployment and accurate execution once fighting begins. Strong units cannot completely compensate for poor rhythm, while excellent timing cannot always rescue an unsuitable army configuration. Success emerges from balancing both sides of the design. PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY is consequently more than a nostalgic collection. It preserves two creative games whose mechanics remain unusual enough to feel fresh for newcomers while giving returning players an accessible opportunity to experience them again. Repetitive progression, demanding timing, and limited mouse-oriented controls prevent the package from being universally appealing, but those characteristics are outweighed by its memorable visual identity, infectious audio, rewarding army development, and exceptionally original combat system. SAS CO.,LTD. and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. have brought together a pair of adventures that demonstrate how an apparently simple rhythm mechanic can support an unexpectedly deep strategic experience. For players willing to learn the beat and accept its deliberate repetition, commanding the Patapons toward Earthend remains an engaging and charming journey. Rating: 8/10
