Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Step into the role of Hira, a mysterious child born with the dark element fated to stand against ancient gods. Fallen Tear: The Ascension combines the emotional weight and party-building of classic JRPGs with the freeform exploration of Metroidvanias, plus a touch of souls-like challenge. Every death teaches. Every bond matters.
Explore a massive, interconnected world brought to life through gorgeous hand-drawn animation, and full professional voice acting. Venture through lush forests, lost cities and forgotten ruins, all teeming with hidden pathways and challenges to conquer. Journey through over 10 of Raoah's interconnected regions, face six main bosses (and three optional bosses), and experience the story's fully playable opening act in this Early Access release.
Slash, parry, and dodge attacks coming from every direction. Customize Hira's loadout with a deep well of combat skills and abilities, then learn enemy attack patterns, swap weapons and items on the fly, and shift strategies mid-battle to keep even the toughest bosses guessing.
Forge friendships with mages, swordsmen, tricksters and healers through the Fated Bonds system. Inspired by classic JRPG party mechanics, recruit allies to fight and explore alongside you, each lending their own abilities to combat and traversal. Journey alongside 22 allies, each with their own skills to master, sidequests to complete, and stories to unravel.
Build and customize your castle, the Temple of Oras, towering above all of Raoah. Fill it with friendly faces old and new from across this vast world, and complete minigames to earn upgrades that shape the Temple into a living reflection of Hira's journey and the bonds formed along the way.
Bring Hira's acquired skills and allies to bear against vicious boss battles. Swap tactics on the fly, exploit each foe's weaknesses, and strike at the right moment. Every boss conquered brings Hira one step closer to uncovering his murky past.

I can't recommend this game at this state. Too many game breaking glitches. It has a lot of potential. Sadly, the glitches come after more than 2 hours of playing. Now, it won't even run anymore. I will update this review in the future as this is still an early access game.
Really enjoying Fallen Tear: The Ascension so far! The art is beautiful, exploration feels rewarding, and the combat is fun and responsive. The world has a lot of charm, and it's easy to get pulled into the story. For an Early Access game, it's already in great shape and has a solid amount of content. If you're into Metroidvanias, it's definitely worth checking out!

It may be in early access, but i swear this is already more polished than a lot of fully released games. Definately give this a try!
I cannot recommend this game. I brought this game last time. Currently I am unable to play the game. Laptop and Steam deck, new game, load foever and then crash
From the little I’ve played, I found the game excellent. I really like the visuals and the atmosphere it immerses you in. You can customize your experience by choosing the level of challenge you want, ranging from simply enjoying the story to facing a tough test of skill. Having chosen the highest difficulty setting, I found the gameplay to be well-done and satisfying. The various build options allow you to develop your own playstyle. I highly recommend this game if you enjoy Metroidvanias with an RPG twist.
I'm 1.5+ hours into Fallen Tear: The Ascension and already really impressed. The production quality is amazing for a Metroidvania. What stands out to me: Stunning hand-drawn art: The traditional animation is beautiful. The colorful worlds look like a fantasy anime, and Hira moves so smoothly. Crisp, responsive controls: Movement and combat feel precise right from the start. The platforming is great, the hitboxes are accurate, and combat just feels good. A fresh twist on progression: It blends JRPG elements like recruiting allies who grant new abilities with classic Metroidvania exploration. Even picking which movement skill to unlock first feels like a real choice.
I'm really enjoying this game! It feels fresh yet familiar with exploration that keeps pulling me in. The controls are smooth, and every new ability makes backtracking exciting instead of repetitive. Discovering new skill to use for exploration and combats really feels rewarding and satisfying. It's a game that makes every discovery (like new skills and bonds) feel worth it. Overall, it’s fun and engaging experience that captures the best of the Metroidvania style.
great job guys! playing the game for almost 9 hours straight and it is way more above my expectations!! feel 100% vindicated for my money spent
The story is interesting, the visuals, music/SFX, and VA are great, and the combat is oddly satisfying, the boss fights doesn't feel like fighting a bullet sponge, it has attack patterns that will make you regret not pressing that dodge/dash button, also, defeating a boss feels necessary to your progression. Overall, the game is fun and I recommend this game whether your new to a Metroidvania games or not.
The game is so thrilling as you have the freedom to explore and interact with things you're curious about, I've already progressed so much in just little time because I love exploring. I also loved the concept of you earning fated points to power up your gameplay. The UI even on the title screen is sooo clean! It got me hooked immediately! The game has a pathing for the story progression while you can just slay monsters and when the blood moon comes the mobs are actually really strong, I tried fighting one ended up getting beat maybe I should really power up my stats more 😂. Overall, the game is really fun and I'm looking forward to future patches! I highly recommend the game!
