Oxenfree has to be one of the most intriguing and well made games I've played in recent memory. The clever mechanics the team developed mixed with the paranormal narrative were both unique and engaging. I was drawn into the world and felt completely immersed in both the story and characters, and could not wait to see how everything played out. The voice acting was also top notch. There aren't many games I play through multiple times, but the second playthrough not only felt different enough with my dialogue choices, they also gave little references to your first playthrough throughout, and made subtle changes to the world that made the experience feel new and mysterious, which I rarely find in games. Oxenfree managed this really well. That being said, the required third playthrough for the 100% completion was absolutely unnecessary. It added nothing to the experience other than tarnishing a great game with a feeling of boredom at the end. I'd have much rather stopped at 2 playthroughs and left my experience with a feeling of wonder and satisfaction. I can't wait to try out the second one. 14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I thought the voice acting was great! The way the dialogue flowed with the game was good, and in general was really well done BUT There seems a bit of a dev logic flaw with selecting your responses while also trying to do tasks in the during game play as the dialogue would be interrupted. In general for the dialogue, I would have wanted to have a bit more time to select my answers, maybe I am slower than the average player for this aspect. Almost everything about this game was good, can't believe it took this long to play it. 10 years old! Story was fun definitely worth it on sale if the game piques your interest.
Oxenfree gives us a very strong narrative and beautiful backgrounds and soundtrack!
Great game with a captivating, weird story and fantastic voice acting. It's pretty short, but replaying it at least once is a must - a lot of things are different in a second playthrough! By the way: in the past many people complained about the background music being too loud, and it really was - now there's a slider to turn down the volume.
Vale la pena, es buen juego.
One of the games of all time. I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a good story and people who enjoy good music and unique art style.
All the outs in free. Fantastic game, perhaps even my favorite of all time. Worth every second and playthrough!
