Overlooting

Just 100%-ed the game and wanted to leave a review. I really enjoyed the first few hours of the game. The three characters each have interesting gimmicks that make them feel distinct and support different playstyles. For the most part, I felt the RNG was fair enough. Unless you're stubborn about forcing a specific build, you can usually put together a solid build on every run at the lower difficulties. On the other hand, Corruption 5 feels like it requires a god run, at least in my experience. You can have decent luck overall but still get a bad start and die on Floor 1. Even if you make it to Floor 2, you can get DPS-checked by the boss. The final boss you get can also determine whether you win or lose. I've had runs where I simply got unlucky with the final boss and was deleted because I only had 40 max HP, while the boss could deal 50+ damage in one hit within four turns. All in all, I'd recommend the game, but the higher difficulties can feel heavily RNG-dependent at times, which can make them pretty frustrating.

A cute and fun little game. sadly sometimes it felt too easy if you had good rng, but you can literally make it work with everything you get. wouldve loved if it had more progression stuff like upgrading base stats (for example getting to begin with regen 1 etc.), but it still has enough content for at least 10 hrs. I played it till I completed 100% achievements and am now writing this review xd You can definitely get 100% a looot faster, but I like to take my time and played this often while doing other stuff (for example watching a movie) so im pretty content. 10€ is a bit much for the content it offers, but I got it off humble bundle so who am I to judge. The price just seems a bit high if you compare it to games like vampire survivors or megabonk, where you can put infinitely more time into it for half the price. If you just need a cozy game to turn your brain off for a few hours, this is for you. Just maybe wait for a discount.

I wish the game felt less stiff and more fluid. It’s a good game that I enjoy playing from time to time, taking things slowly and discovering everything at my own pace, without YouTubers or articles. Just me and a few mouse clicks.
