Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So I tried to play it in the wee hours of the night and got too scared. So it's definitely a good horror game! Enjoyed it so far, though the character animations walk faster than she actually moves along the ground. But that's minor.

I would like to thank the guy who bought me this as a sick joke. A great method of torture is to get people to play through the entirety of this affront to God.
Complete garbage. Don't waste your money...
I got this game on sale I think? It was $2-4? I would not pay a penny more for it. First of all, this is a PS2 quality game that needs PS5 levels of hardware to run it comfortably. You CAN run it on a PS4, but it'll be rough. (Just to give some context. I don't spec-speak well good, yes-yes?) To be more direct, the graphics of this game do not support the lag and several crashes I had to endure. My current laptop can run present day LoL without braking a sweat, and this game had it dry heaving from launch, but it looks like a late gen PS2 game, maybe early PS3 AT BEST. There is an ATTEMPT at a story with an ATTEMPT at a twist ending. I don't mind saying that much because it DOES NOT matter. The game is janky, and not in an endearing way. You move slow and kind of jerky at times, you have a 3 second sprint that takes like 5 seconds to refresh. You can get stuck on terrain features like stones and other road debris. ITS TOO DARK!!! The flashlight that's built into every gun that you CAN'T TOGGLE ON AND OFF is often too bright, especially when your next to another light source or close to something. Some of the items placements in the game are... I'm gonna say questionable? You can miss a decent amount of stuff if you aren't specifically looking around for it. There seems to have been an update to the enemies, because you CAN kill them with any weapon now. If your using the handgun expect them to get back up 2-4 times if your aim is inconsistent, but all they do die for good now from any weapon. The targeting laser takes some getting used too, but it's not horrible. In the base game I bounced between the handgun, shotgun, and knife to conserve ammo; I'm convinced I didn't need to do that. If you kite them, all but one enemy can be taken out with your handgun, and if you want to save ammo, down basic zombies with you handgun and finish them with your knife on the ground. That's another thing, there's a crouch button for almost literally no reason. The aggro range for the enemies in this game is fairly forgiving, but I would genuinely be surprised if there was a "stealth" aspect to this game, especially considering your limited ability to sprint. Your hurt box is forgivingly close, so you can honestly just back peddle from all but one enemy in the game if you maintain a decent amount of space. I wouldn't knife run this as there aren't enough healing items in the game to do it, and attacking with your knife puts you into hurt range for all enemies. The enemies in this game look... ok, but mechanically they're a joke, especially considering the afore mentioned aggro ranges and graphics. If you can hit an enemy from far enough away and back off, most off them will reset, so this game is very easy and cheesey. It's not long, I beat it in 6 hours, but it felt like 8 with the item management I did. There are puzzles, but I only got stumped on one because I wasn't really paying attention. You can unlock multiple modes if you beat the base game, but if you have enough investment to play this nothing burger of a game a second time, you're a better man than me. The environment looks good, and the sound design is largely passible. I would say that's probably the reason I had troubles running it. It's constantly raining and there's a looping lightning strike that does light up everything, so that's probably where most of the graphics for this game went. Which is also disappointing, because I wouldn't call this a "pretty" or "eerie" game. There's a small amount of tie-in with the visual story telling and the actual game story, but again, it DOES NOT matter. All in all, I would say this game is as barebones and disappointing as it looks. There's little investment and very little enjoyment in playing it once, let alone replay value. I want to say there's a good game in here, but without a major overhaul, don't pay more that $5 to play this if you want to play it at all. Spend your time and money one something else unless you can smash it before your refund time window times out. It's just another boring, half-♥♥♥♥♥♥ attempt at a horror survival game.
12/20 L'optimisation est à revoir mais sinon l'ambiance est sympa. Gameplay assez old school.
I was actually liking the game (which for some reason reminded me of resident evil code veronice) til when I got to church with statue puzzle and I was fighting a zombie and when I knocked to ground he got back up and I couldnt use my weapon or switch weapons. In fact the character started IMO running like a palsy. This happen 3 times in a row. But other then that it's worth the asking price if they can fix it. What sucks also is I got over 2 hours gameplay so i cant return it. I love throwing my hard earned money on broken games.
If you played RE, Silent Hill, Dino Crisis... and enjoyed them, this saga is a love letter to them. Of course, the project is created by a single person, and you probably should take it into account when playing these games. Don´t expect AAA graphics or animations, cause you are going to refund them if you do so. So, speaking about Outbreak: Lost Hope: The game is a clear evolution from the other developer games. Animations and graphics are still out of date, but the atmosphere is huge compared to the previous titles. The mosters are the very similar to the bestiary of RE saga, but with one or two very interesting aditions. If there is something better done than the games in which this saga is influenced are their puzzles. You must read every note in the game because the solution to the puzzles is willing to be there. It´s fun as well discovering the story reading the notes, like in the 80s classics. Now the weapons are perfect. This is something I didn´t appreciate about other titles in the saga. The weapons didn´t feel like a weapon, because of the animations. Now you can feel the power once you take a shotgun and use it. Very good job improving this, something where the saga was a little bit weak. I recommend this title, and if you enjoy it, make a try in Outbreak: Epidemic as well. I thing this two are the best of the saga. But is just my opinion. Take care!
