Opus Magnum is the latest open-ended puzzle game from Zachtronics, the creators of SpaceChem, Infinifactory, and SHENZHEN I/O. Design and build machines that assemble potions, poisons, and more using the alchemical engineer’s most advanced tool: the transmutation engine!

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Sep 10 → 5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

goat puzzle game
Another Zachtronics classic. Easier than the other titles like spacechem, but I still enjoy the physical transformation aspect over just writing machine code.
A highly enjoyable Zachlike. Maybe not as demanding as the toughest of his other puzzles, but it is a lovely sensory experience. Watching your clockwork creations working is an absolute delight! (the in-built GIF sharing was a stroke of marketing genius)

My favorite Zachtronics game... super fun to tinker with solutions and optimize, but doesn't feel like work as much as some of the other games do.
It's a devilish puzzle game that really pushes your spatial reasoning to the max, and funnily enough, this is also the easiest Zachtronic game of the bunch. You have to transport atoms, link atoms, unlink atoms, transform atoms, destroy atoms... You play as a freshly graduated alchemist who uses a transmutation engine to create various kinds of materials and substances to fulfill various requests, or to test himself to see how far he can go testing the limits of alchemy. The story wasn't special, but it was enjoyable. The real deal comes with the extra challenges once you finish the main story. Unlike other Zachtronic games, such as Exapunks or Shenzhen I/O, this doesn't require reading manuals to get into action (and it doesn't feel like a job either). Also, it doesn't have Solitaire; instead, it has a marble color-match labyrinth, which is surprisingly addictive. And like the other games, it comes with Workshop support for custom puzzles, and the community likes to test if you can create real-life particles like adhesives or explosives. Customer satisfaction: 8/10
Spent more time playing the minigame than the actual game. 10/10, would buy this game for Sigmar's Garden again.
