Mars has been colonized, and Earth's corporate titans fight to dominate this new market. Competition is fierce in this fast-paced economic RTS from Civilization IV Lead Designer, Soren Johnson.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 7 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Gosto muito desse jogo. Desafiador. Dica: Não tenha medo de vender suas propriedades no meio jogo
THIS AGAIN. This game feels way more unique than most games like it, but it has surprisingly little depth. You've seen it all rather fast, and then it's just the same thing over and over. I think somehow they designed themselves into a corner. Feels like there was a lot more someone /wanted/ to add, but they couldn't figure out how and just gave up. Even if all I was doing was leveling up a civilization like in AoE2 (was it 2 I'm thinking of? 3? w/e), or just researching more tech/upgrade options... nope, a couple playthroughs, that's it. Heck, even the maps feel that way. You'd think with modern procedurally-generated maps you wouldn't be thinking on your second game, "what, THIS again?" Yup, it's this again. Man, I wish it was better. Was looking for something better.

Unlike any other game. You must be quick to figure out what will be needed, then be quick to make it! Multi-player is my favorite as you never know what they will do. Also has some amazing single player add-ons.
If you like obscure games like City of Gangsters or Patrician you'll probably like this. The game isn't as difficult as the reviews suggest. The way the negative reviews are written you would assume the AI cheats, it doesn't. It takes maybe 2-3 hrs to understand the mechanics if you skip the tutorial (you don't need to look anything up), and from there it becomes a bit simplistic. Loop goes like this Go to a world -> Scan the planet to find resources -> Choose your starting area -> Put buildings on resources you can monopolize, that are profitable, or needed for maintenance -> Auto sell resources not needed for the base upgrade or research -> Upgrade base to level 4 or 5 -> Auto sell all resources -> Buy every module/gift package you can. I had fun, and for only $20 to get the Ultimate Edition I have no regrets. I don't know if I would feel the same way if it was full priced though.
A sim game of unfettered capitalism
Unnecessary launchers are an automatic do-not-recommend for me
Truth, Doubt or Lie - Steam Curator
Offworld Trading Company game is unlike anything else out there. Its a building, strategy, competition game with quick decision making & maneuvering involved in order to win. Its a solid game, but it can hardly deliver consistent amounts of fun hours, because after you finish the first match you already seem all. It is a fast paced game where the player must be active and paying attention. You can pause anytime, so don't worry about your lack actions per minute micro skills, you don't need those. However and this makes it so intriguing is the fact that the buildings need claims to build, so its not all about speed but deep thinking and planning ahead. Most games skirmishes are a quick 20-30 minutes. Players play as corporations on Mars – choosing a location, trying to make a fortune supplying the central colony, and buy out the competition. The game offers no military conflict, but black market manipulation, auctions and economics. These corporations produce and consume 13 resources; a handful tutorials explain the basics. There are 4 different corporation types with specific advantages and resource needs. Nearby material deposits, hopefully rich (or surface ice) determine the quality of a founding location. When I faced the campaign I found a really different game, with mechanics not explained, construction limit and a kind of rush to win that I was never able to beat with the concepts explained in the in-game tutorial. The UI is very polished, allowing control over fluid, rapidly changing situations. Market price system and its representation is especially impressive; you see price trends, actual price and spikes. Difficulty is per player, determining upgrade cost, debt thresholds and starting money. So it can be used to even skill levels in MP matches. You can't change the AI difficulty. The DLC cash grab is pathetic, disgusting and disappointing.
I love city builders / colony sims / 4X games (and I own probably 30+ such games), but the maps in this game are just designed to last a few dozen minutes and then they end... and that's not enjoyable imo. I prefer to spend 10hrs+ on a single map, like you can do in Anno, Cities Skylines, etc. This game will appeal to people who don't care about lasting progression or building up a city/base to a grand scale. Cons: #1. The game uses a standalone, 3rd party launcher, which has ads. #2. No voice acting whatsoever #3. No tutorial at start of game or during skirmish. There's a standalone tutorial but those things are a waste of time and a 'learn as you play' tutorial is always better than a standalone tutorial. #4. I like the one song that plays in the main menu, but the song ends with a TERRIBLE left-right audio effect which is massively distracting, so even that is spoiled tbh. I can't say that any other song in the entire game is good or even noticeable. #5. During a few campaign missions, there's full-screen written text boxes that pop up, and the game doesn't even pause while you're reading those text boxes, so while you're reading the text that the devs want you to read, the competing AI are just running away with their economy. #6. The game is stuffed to the balls with DLC. They could have gone the 'free update route' seeing as their game already costs €36, but no... these devs are trying to win the corporate war afterall, since that's what their game is based on... so they just said "fxck it! let's make this game cost €100+ with all the DLC!!!" #7. The graphics is meh. #8. The game is for sale in russia For more reviews, visit my curator page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/7851637/ For my full recommended list of games: https://steamcommunity.com/id/lfpg/recommended/
To be fair I was eyeing that game for a long time. It sounded very on paper. I kinda thought interplanetary company. Colonize and join several planets into a long chain of trade and so on... but that's where I was totally wrong. It's an absolutely boring time bound do things in a certain order fast game. Find the goods that sell good. Drag down your opponents and try to build things on time... once you get that concept in a first hour of the game it becomes repetitive, annoying, the only variety is the available resources. I got 7 hours on it to finish a 10 week campaign. And I am NOT tempted to try anything else in it. It's a very limited builder with time constraint and even though I got it on sale, I don't think it was really worth even that much. TL:DR: - short skirmish like missions with very limited building. - half the stuff that is there to "create diversity" is just useless and not needed at all. - not interesting, and very basic.
What a fantastic game with a great and kind of unique concept. Highly recommended.
