Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Occupy Mars is a technical, open-world sandbox, survival game about Mars colonization inspired by the most promising technologies and companies that are working towards the goal of humanity becoming a multi-planet species.
Explore different regions of Mars while searching for valuable resources, discover mining sites, and find the best place to build a city. Remember that you need to find a relatively leveled area with good access to underground water in a place where temperatures don't drop too much during the night.

Build and upgrade your base, craft equipment, mine resources, produce water, oxygen and food, explore an open world, and repair complex machinery in a technical survival sandbox.

Manage your energy production and build your electricity grid. Make sure that there is enough water, oxygen, power, and food to survive.

Fix broken parts using realistic electronic components and tools. Learn the basics soldering, using hot air, measurement tools, and all the details necessary to fix your equipment.

Upgrade your vehicles and equipment in your garage. Organize your workshop and modify your rover. Change crane hydraulics, operate the robotic arm, dig for valuable resources, build mining rigs, and more...

Build greenhouses, oxygen tanks, fuel generators, connect all the pipes and cables, and remember about proper cable management. Grow your own food.

Experience an open-world sandbox game with a realistic day/night cycle and overcome real challenges that colonists face. Build solar arrays and batteries for energy storage, upgrade them, and find the optimal way to power your colony.

Occupying Mars is not always easy. Sometimes things will explode, break or not go exactly as planned. Learn to cope with "Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly.” Sometimes you have to really act quickly before you run out of air, food, or energy.

...but most importantly HAVE FUN on Mars!

eden crafters is so great, why does this game suck so much. Its like playing EGS and then expecting the same game play on space engineers 2. It just too much details that makes it more like a job, than playing a fun game. it's like they said lets make a space planet version of green hell with ideas from scum. 2 hours in I'm like this is completely stupid.

Really good game! A few minor things to fix, like controls are a bit stiff and clunkt, but with some work this game will be awesome!!
Erinnert eher an westafrikanische Schiffabwrackstrände.
This game has been in perpetual EA for what...like 8 years? development has been pretty much at a standstill for years. Now they say they are working on Co-op. Yay. How about finishing your F-ing game first? Do not buy this broken, janky, sad piece of junk. It will never be finished. They will just continue to drag this out for many years to come. Edit after dev response: Look at this dev response. What a bunch of little butthurt children. I held off on leaving any review for a LONG time. Then when I finally called them out for being the scam that they are, they got offended. Do NOT give these people money. Also, apparently they did not start development until the same day they released into Early Access. I deleted one of their nasty little comments they left (to actually do them a favor). So instead they abuse their ability to post directly into reviews. At this point, they've now responded to this like 3 or 4 times. Hilarious.
I watching this game closely for years. I did not buy before due lack of CO-OP. Since I like Satisfactory especially building electricity network this game is seemed promising. I bought recently due it was on sale and I saw COOP Beta tests. This game is good. It is EA stage but perfectly playable. What to expect? You can experience of about 2 minutes in the very begining at campaign mode that the characters and the look of the character is dull. The a dialogues are dull too. When the accident happens and you stranded alone in the MARS you dont get involved any character interaction anymore so problem solved. But..you stranded on planet mars. Despite the inventory is unrealistic - you can carry half a planet without a struggle - you are going to be facing a serious problems out there. Weather situation is deadly. The night cold deadly too. Power blackouts. Hunger. I have a base with the ATV. The vehicle is drained off and I dont have any food and my potatoes is still growing. Sandstorm out there and crafting medkits to survive to wait to have a potato, and blackout again. The plants are withering. If you open a door without equalizing pressure yes that happens. You have a soldering station you have to repair a PCB with replacing capacitors and any parts. Brilliant. It definitely scratches that kind of itch.
Game saves keep corrupting so is unplayable long term
Well, we hit 1.0 and its just not that great, never got the polish it deserved, graphics are so so, the sound is terrible and the flow of the game is just off. Its grind fest with very little reward. I have invested hours in this and I did like where it was going, but to me, it just never got there.
