Horrible game...do not waste your money. The number one glaring issue is food/water...you die constantly because it depletes so rapidly. I even have the perk to reduce it AND put the game on easy mode...still stupid retarded death after death and you lose all your stuff each time...no settings to not drop backpack. Game is def in an alpha state and another cash grab as usual on a poorly designed game. Combat and movement are really bad. You can basically kill everything with an axe by just moving backwards and attacking....you take no damage. Movement is very sponging and not responsive. There is no food in loot at all...zero. You get infected meat from killing mobs and cook it but still this is not enough....you can not kill them fast enough to offset the hunger loss even with perk and game on easy mode....so stupid. You have no time to do anything or explore since you lose food so fast and die. Pass on this for awhile...I really would not waste your money....I don't understand how the game even made it to this stage with the poorly designed food and water problem. You literally die every 10 mins and lose all your stuff....no backpack on ground to pick up. Just a horrible design. With this blatant issue in the game at start I would say this dev has no clue on making a game...steer clear.

Absolut keine kauf Empfehlung.
Lots of potential for this game, currently not a lot to do, I would hold off on buying it until multiple updates. Overall performs very well, combat needs major improvement as the shots hit but don't do any damage half the time. Lots of bugs
He jugado 1h:30 min.
I don't say this very often but this game isn't even ready for early access. I tried the demo and thought it was ok. Got the game and of course I'm full of loot and randomly blow up to a zombie. Ok, they do that. Cool. I go back to get my stuff and there's no body. In the explosion I flew into space and there's not body now where I died because I was in the vehicle which also blew up. Good thing I ran like a kilometer back. Not to mention several times I've logged out and back only to get swarmed by enemies. Apparently the saving function chooses when to save because I've gone back with and without gear I picked up, ammo, and of course everything comes back to life. This game is a mess.
I am nearly at around 3 hours playing this game at the time of writing this. Getting straight into it. Not Quite Dead has a lot of things going well for it right out the gate: -A dev who is communicating with the players and trying not only to listen for positive parts of their game, but also taking in the negatives and seeing if there are things that can be done to assist with it (This alone is a HUGE W and something that the gaming community should be supporting regardless of us enjoying the title or not) -Visually, it is solid. I am not saying it is 4k hyper realism nonsense. I am saying that what you see, is what you get, and what you get, is honestly not too shabby at all. Bonus points in my opinion for how awesome nightvision looks in this game -I LOVE how when you spawn in for the first time and on runs after that, you have the chance to spawn in with a different random loadout/item/however you want to call it. I have done a few permadeath runs and this gave me some hope that I may spawn in with a weapon or something -Entertainment wise, I have been streaming this and the folks who have been watching seem to like it just as much as when I play titles like project zomboid, 7 days to die, surroundead, and other zombie survival titles. That is saying something considering that usually we can all be quick to judge things at are not the usual I will stop there for now. There are many other good things with the game, but I am trying not to get too deep into the weeds. Feel free to tune in to the stream and ask questions if you want. RiftMath is the name there too. Now for the things that can be worked on in my opinion (and to be fair, MOST, if not all of this have already been seen and addressed by the devs) -Yes, it is true that the zombies have a chance to spawn randomly next too you, or disappear. I believe I saw just today that they put out a hot fix for it or are planning to do so soon. Again, they are listening and reading the reviews. -One very small complaint I have that I would love to see fixed is with the nightvision. As it stands, you cannot use it while you are in a vehicle. I think it would be very helpful and look pretty dang cool if we can use them while driving/flying. I was flying a chopper from one side of the map to another at night and when I tell you it would have made that experience such a billy bad A experience! lol again, nothing game breaking, just a small "this would be nice" improvement -The game DOES get a little jittery when you are driving the different cars/trucks around the map. I do not know what is causing it, but it definitely starts to get janky with that. And legitimately, those are the only downsides that I have found so far in this game. I have many suggestions that I think would be cool to add or work on, but it is very easy to be that person sitting on the sidelines enjoying the labors of others. Overall I think this title is well worth the pricepoint, and one that you can enjoy if you are a fan of the zombie survival genre. Hope this helps.
I'll start off by saying that I don't dislike this title. I cared enough to put in close to 24 hrs. But in it's current state, I cannot rightfully recommend this to anyone. The potential is there, but it needs more time in the oven. COMBAT & ENEMIES Combat isn't awful, it just feels.... simple. Ranged weaponry can land headshot damage, but melee can't. Melee swings exhaust stamina, but blocking doesn't. Zombies stagger when struck via melee or ranged. When you realize this, a fresh start is honestly not so bad. Ranged weaponry is executed well enough for the most part, but the Bow doesn't exactly fire as it should. I don't expect a traditional wooden bow to have laser-accuracy, but I shouldn't have to aim away from a zombie charging at me to land a hit. Thankfully it isn't a struggle to start finding guns and ammo, and doesn't take long to retire the Bow if you choose to craft it. Melee weapons either, honestly...... And the trader doesn't exactly make ammo scarce either once you start to accumulate Cash. Now, onto enemies. Infected - Run of the mill dopey zombie. Will begin to charge you once in distance, but they never really catch up to you so long as you stay moving. Aside from the Bow, all ranged weaponry will one shot headshot these guys. There is a second variant of Infected that yields a green glow instead of red. I call them "Greenies." They are more tenacious and pack more of a punch in damage, but their speed is the same. Weapon Parts are apart of their loot table and they will always drop at least one, so definitely remember to loot the Greenies. Infected X - The 'exploder' variant in this title. Will likely be the bane of your existence. In a lot of zombie games, this enemy variant will typically have an animation trigger when its near you, a cue that its about to explode and gives you enough time to remove yourself from the radius. Not this title. It's explosion is instantaneous and will absolutely one shot you. Full health? Doesn't matter. They sound similar to standard Infected, so audio cues aren't best relied upon and it's up to visually IDing them. You will likely turn a corner or walk through a doorway in certain POIs and be greeted by one of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with instant death. Boss Infected - These don't make much sense to me as they're big and bulky, but not as tanky as you would expect. They're extremely fast, though. Try to ID them from a distance and land 2-3 sniper headshots into them. Rampage - A unique model in a central POI. Gets a boss style health bar when approached, and does leap and ground slam style attacks. Astonishingly easy to kite around. Bandits - Would probably be the fiercest enemy in game at the most if not for the dopey AI. Like any other enemy, you can just keep your distance and take them out long range without aggroing them. Their bandit allies seem to not notice when the crew is getting picked off. I wouldn't say the combat is 'floaty' or anything of the sort, it's just... simple. No enemy provides a real challenge or threat. Infected X can just get the drop on you with it's insta-death explosion, but that's really it. It's fair to note that this game has climbing, so you can just climb on top of a vehicle, buildings, or whatever else and keep a safe distance. Zombies will just kind of... stand there and take it, VEHICLES There are few ground vehicles scattered across the map. All burn fuel the same and go the same speed, but some yield a higher health bar. There are a couple of helicopters and a singular boat, that I can tell. Aircraft and watercraft vehicles do not have a storage compartment, but ground vehicles do. Aircraft and watercraft do NOT save their position upon exiting game, so consider this before making any assumptions for future use. SOMETHING THAT I THINK NEEDS IMMEDIATE FIXING: Vehicles taken from their spawn will eventually respawn despite if that vehicle type is already out and deployed on the map. I learned this while making corpse runs to a certain central POI due to failing to place a sleeping bag to keep my spawn closer. WHAT THIS MEANS: The more vehicles you start to generate into the world, the more choppy the game begins to run. I was at a point where I had about 6 vehicles outside of the POI. my last run back, I noticed just how choppy the game was getting, and immediately realized the cause. I tried relogging, but of course that doesn't cure it. Next method I chose to pursue was to destroy all but my main vehicle. This worked, but this is where I also learned your vehicle will only ever take damage from impacts while driving, impacts from other functioning vehicles, or enemy fire from bandits. Your own weapon fire or use of grenades will do nothing. This method was only a temporary fix as I exited the game, reloaded it, and noticed that all the destroyed vehicles were back, only this time, I couldn't enter them. Apart of the game seemed to think they were functioning while also acknowledging they were wrecked. This caused me to have to delete the save and start a fresh game because it became to choppy to enjoy. WHAT COULD FIX THIS: Have vehicle respawns only trigger when the vehicle is destroyed. WORLD/MAP It'll be nice once it's fleshed out more, but there just isn't much going on in the world. Once you get to the central section of the map and go southward, the map is sadly underdeveloped. There's even a section of the map that isn't currently filled in, but you can enter it. There of sections of the filled map that you can't exactly traverse. You won't hit invisible walls, but you WILL however hit invisible ramps as you attempt to follow some of the roads. Now, I am to assume there are plans for it, but as it stands, it's just... barren. There also an icon and the southernmost part of the map that suggests a POI is there, but you travel to it and there is nothing. At most, there is a flattened section in the terrain with no ground clutter, suggesting plans of a having something there. The map marker should be removed until there is. SEASONAL GOALS I respect the idea of having this. There are kill count milestones on zombies. You get a reward for reaching each milestone, some of the deeper-in rewards being weapons that I haven't seen drop in the world. My only problem is.... some of the kill counts are atrociously high when the zombie density isn't that high. And there just isn't enough incentive to roam around and pick off stragglers or the occasional pack of 5-6 to reach kill counts of 1500 or more. Roaming hordes definitely need to be a thing in order to make these milestones realistically achievable, as well adding some actual risk when going out to loot. A broken aspect of the game I'd like to point out. Say there's a POI that you find has good loot, and you just can't wait for containers to replenish. Well... you don't have to. You can simply exit game and reboot and all containers are replenished. Just like that, you can easily farm clothing and weapons to disassemble for cloth and weapon parts, cash, ammo, and if food and water was still a struggle for you, well no longer. This is where I'll end my review. Please don't look at this as me picking the game apart. Again, it's brimming with potential and has it's charm for a game using Synty assets. Would like to see it flourish. Best of luck to the dev.
I love games like this main one being Surroundead, but 2 out of the 5 enemies that i attacked fell thru the ground. it also feels a little strange when moving around. but not bad, Needs a bit work but it has good Potential. I don't like leaving bad reviews when a game has decent elements that keep u going. but enemies falling thru the ground seems a bit of a big issue. More so if at one point, u need to collect things from them later in the game.
