Reviews
Nobody Saves the World is a vibrant and inventive action RPG that brilliantly subverts traditional dungeon-crawling tropes with its playful mechanics and charming narrative. Developed by DrinkBox Studios, known for their quirky and stylish games, this title invites players into a colorful fantasy world filled with humor, creativity, and unexpected twists. The game’s core appeal lies in its unique transformation system, which allows the protagonist to shift between a variety of forms, each with distinct abilities and playstyles. This flexibility not only enriches combat but also encourages experimentation and strategic thinking throughout the adventure. At its essence, Nobody Saves the World is about exploring diverse dungeons, battling hordes of enemies, and completing quests—all while mastering the powers of multiple characters that can be unlocked and upgraded over time. The transformation mechanic stands out as the game’s defining feature. Players start as a humble human but quickly gain the ability to morph into a range of forms, from a tiny rat to a powerful dragon. Each form comes with its own unique set of skills, strengths, and weaknesses, and players can combine abilities across forms once unlocked, creating endless combinations to suit different combat scenarios. This system adds layers of depth and personalization to the gameplay, rewarding creativity and adaptability. The game’s combat is fast-paced and satisfying, striking a balance between accessibility and tactical depth. Battles are often chaotic, filled with a variety of enemy types that require different approaches. Switching forms mid-fight allows players to adapt on the fly, whether it’s using a stealthy form to avoid damage or a heavy-hitting form to quickly dispatch foes. The skill customization and leveling system further enhance this by allowing players to fine-tune their preferred forms, unlocking new attacks and passive bonuses. This progression system motivates continued play, as players seek out new transformations and abilities to enhance their effectiveness in combat and exploration. Narratively, Nobody Saves the World embraces a whimsical and self-aware tone that complements its quirky gameplay. The story centers around an unassuming protagonist who, rather surprisingly, is tasked with saving the world from a looming catastrophe. Along the way, players encounter a cast of eccentric characters and humorous situations that inject levity and charm into the adventure. The writing is witty and playful, often breaking the fourth wall and poking fun at classic RPG clichés. This lighthearted approach makes the game welcoming to both genre veterans and newcomers, creating a memorable experience that balances humor with genuine emotional beats. Visually, the game shines with its bright, hand-drawn art style and fluid animations. The colorful environments range from lush forests and mystical caves to bizarre, otherworldly realms, each filled with detailed textures and lively creatures. Character designs are imaginative and expressive, reflecting the game’s whimsical personality. The soundtrack and sound effects enhance the atmosphere perfectly, blending catchy tunes with dynamic audio cues that respond to the action. The overall presentation is polished and inviting, making exploration a joy. The game also benefits from well-designed level layouts that encourage exploration and discovery. Secret areas, puzzles, and hidden challenges reward curiosity and skill, adding replayability beyond the main quest. Side missions and optional bosses provide additional depth and variety, ensuring that players have plenty to engage with long after the initial story is complete. The balance between linear progression and open-ended exploration feels well-managed, keeping the experience fresh and engaging throughout. While Nobody Saves the World is largely successful, some players might find that the repetitive nature of dungeon crawling and combat can wear on over extended sessions. The game’s humor and charm carry a lot of weight in keeping players invested, but those seeking a more serious or narrative-driven RPG might find the story light in comparison. Additionally, while the transformation system is innovative, mastering the intricacies of each form’s abilities and optimal combinations may require some patience and experimentation. In summary, Nobody Saves the World is a delightful and creative take on the action RPG formula, combining inventive gameplay mechanics with a quirky narrative and charming aesthetics. Its unique transformation system and engaging combat make it stand out in a crowded genre, providing both challenge and accessibility. With its humor, colorful world, and deep customization, the game offers a thoroughly enjoyable experience that appeals to a broad range of players. For anyone looking for a fresh, fun, and imaginative RPG adventure, Nobody Saves the World is a fantastic choice that promises hours of entertainment and discovery. Rating: 9/10

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So far it has been a fun experience. I did not finished it yet, as I try to avoid playing without my gf, but I can't forget to leave a positive review.
Just a fun game
Excellent Zelda-Ish top down game. Lots of fun. I can't tell you anything new that the other 10000000 people haven't :D
美术音乐很有特色,变身和技能交叉也比较有趣。但是怪物种类的和BOSS太少了,所有的地下城都趋同导致缺乏持续新鲜感。比较适合小朋友。
MUITO MUITO BOM
6/10 сплошной дроч, только кооп помогает. Игра неплохая, но сильно гриндить заставляет и довольно однообразно.
