For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

About

Night Slashers is a pulse-pounding, horror-themed beat 'em up game, in a nightmarish world filled with bloodthirsty creatures and unspeakable horrors. Prepare to step into the shoes of the unlikely heroes, as they battle hordes of supernatural foes and terrifying monsters.
In Night Slashers, you're not just fighting for survival: you're battling to save the world from a supernatural apocalypse. Join the fight, experience the adrenaline, and embrace the horror. Your darkest nightmares await…

Night Slashers, a classic arcade game originally developed by DATA EAST in 1993, still stands as one of the best titles in the beat 'em up genre to this day! Gameplay consists of seven distinct stages, each subdivided into multiple sections. You can advance by navigating from left to right within each stage, combating waves of enemies to progress.
Attempting to proceed further without eliminating foes halts the screen’s scroll until all the threats are dealt with. Upon reaching the end of each level, a climactic showdown with a formidable boss awaits. Achieve victory over the boss to advance.
Classic Beat 'Em Up Gameplay:Night Slashers: Remake stays true to its roots, offering classic side-scrolling beat 'em up action reminiscent of genre-defining games like Streets of Rage and TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. Players will battle through multiple levels, including one secret stage, each culminating in a showdown with a powerful boss.
Four Playable Characters: Choose from three unique characters from the classic version of the game, plus an additional character added in the remake!
Local Multiplayer for Up to Four Players: You don’t have to face the restless hordes of the undead alone—team up with up to four players in local multiplayer mode, where each player controls a different character with an extensive set of moves.
Advanced Combat Mechanics: Master a variety of combat options, including combos, jump attacks, grappling moves, and running strikes. Each character also has devastating special moves that can turn the tide of battle—at the cost of some of their own health.
Spectacular Screen-Clearing Attacks: When the situation gets dire, unleash a powerful screen-clearing attack that decimates all enemies in sight. These attacks come with a significant health cost, but the carnage they unleash is well worth the sacrifice.
Diverse and Horrifying Enemies: Face off against an army of the undead, including zombies, mutants, werewolves, and other nightmarish creatures. Each level is packed with terrifying foes and iconic horror-themed bosses like Dracula, mummies, golems, and Frankenstein's monster.
Night Slashers: Remake stands out with its grim, horror-infused world. The game features atmospheric music and cartoon-style gore that will delight fans of classic horror movies and games alike.
Additional Custom Modes: In the Remake version, you can set your own rules for the game beyond the classic difficulty levels. Time limits? Exploding corpses? It's all here. But are you brave (or crazy) enough to try it?
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, GOG, Nintendo, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

🌃 Well, this is a cheap remaster of a fairly niche arcade game, that was obvious. It's definitely not a remake, as the visual were simply changed to "animated 3D" (not that bad), another character was added, the soundtrack was re-arranged, and for some reason only some of the cutscenes were redrawn. It plays literally like the old arcade titles – clunky, with poor hitboxes / mixed balance, but there are still some weird mechanics that make the whole thing a broken, but fun experience. The original is very short, and it's the same here. Of course, in the era of the genre's revival, it could have been done better (presumably with a bigger budget), but this is all we have. Not exactly the bottom, but unremarkable. It's inexcusable that the original was removed and not included in this release. Otherwise, it's another victim of the fact that the game can be improved with patches, but it looks like there won't be any more.
This game is more of a remaster than a "remake", so don't expect an "Street of Rage 4" experience. Having said that, it plays about well a the original arcade IMO, My only real critism i have is the lack of features and game modes and while the remade spites are pretty decent some them look a bit "uncanny" on the default setting, fortunately the pixelated "retro" filter helps to remedy this issue, so that helps. I also helps that the game is relatively cheap on Steam (especially on a sale) so that pretty sweet. In conclusion, if you're a fan of old obscure classic arcade scrolling beat-em-ups and cheesy '90's horror and are on a budget, you'll probably get a kick out it. Would defiantly recommend!

....... \_☠_ ▄▂_ .........[█|||███████]▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▃▂ ..__▂▅█ Mafia do Retrogame █▅▄▃▂ I███████████████████████████] ...◥⊙▲⊙▲⊙▲⊙▲⊙▲⊙▲⊙▲⊙▲⊙◤ CANAL MAFIA DO RETROGAME - YOUTUBE @mafiadoretrogame https://www.youtube.com/@mafiadoretrogame GAMEPLAY ATÉ ZERAR! https://youtu.be/ossuQbFk1Hs
Night Slashers: Remake pros: //fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on //good amount of action and special effects cons: //some difficult battles/boss battles //some overpowered enemies //could use more weapons and health items //sometimes too many enemies fill the screen and make it difficult to evade //blocking doesn't work until you have low health //power moves cost health //sometimes a bug prevents you from picking up weapons //sometimes your character gets stuck which forces you back to the start by menu //a lot of enemies have attacks that you cannot evade //good game Personal Suggested Purchase Price: $0.99 Or Less During Sale extra notes: //you are a hunter fighting evil monsters //fight through enemy monsters and take down their bosses and travel to the next evil hideout locations //well rendered and remade monsters and scenery to fill the updated remake //heroes have some nice distinctive looking power moves
Not the best remake (as others have stated, there's quite a bit of wonky behaviour in game mechanics that weren't present in the original arcade) but still absolutely worth a playthrough for people looking for a decent beat 'em up to play with friends. More so if you catch it on sale.
This is basically the original Data East arcade game from 1993 but with updated graphics to look more comic book-like, adding one new playable character so it supports 4-player multiplayer, and completely overdoing it on the blood & gore for the sake of overdoing it (the arcade original actually had greenish-turquoise-colored blood though). And unnecessarily cheesy voices that quickly get repetitive. They also took a 3-button game and made it 4 buttons just because. Finally, this game is much easier than the original in part because the super attacks drain A LOT LESS life than in the arcades. It's also a short game, easily beatable in about 45 minutes. Like this developer's The House Of The Dead remakes, essentially they gave it an HD coat of paint and turned it into more of a fanfic game than a remake. If you liked the original game like me, wait until it goes on at least a 50% off sale before thinking about it. If you never played it, find it and, until you try it, don't bother with this one. At least the original arcade soundtrack is available, not a fan of the remake version here. Great looking game but not a great remake. I appreciate the developer making the efforts with these remakes but they're not nearly as good as they could be, in part because they don't seem to involve the originals (but to be fair Data East no longer exists). Again, only consider buying when it's on at least a 50% off sale.
Cortito, pero interesante. Vale le pena en oferta
Night Slasher is just a bad money grab the hitbox is atrocius , you are better with the openbor version. the graphics and gore are tonned down no invincible frames when you grab someone They destroy my favorite beat up infinite sadness
