Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

10 out of 10 holds up extremely well in 2025
Personally, I felt that Ni No Kuni 2 was leaps and bounds ahead of its predecessor. The game being a fantasy action RPG excelled in every aspect. While I felt that the story doesn’t quite reach the level of NNK1, it was still enjoyable, with the characters taking the spotlight and being thoroughly likable. The combat in the game shares some similarities with the Souls series, with the key difference being that most bosses don’t one-shot the entire party, making the experience more forgiving through the use of revival items. NNK2 actively encouraged grinding through a well-thought out system in the form of a end-game quest that spanned across the entire game's timeline. Furthermore, the city-building feature in NNK2 added a sense of natural progression and depth to the world-building. The only gripe I had was the skirmish feature, it felt out of place and was ultimately repetitive and unengaging. All in all, NNK2 was clearly designed as a stress-free experience for children, however, I believe adults can also enjoy it as a way to relive the carefree spirit of childhood. It offered a good and simple story fit for passing time.
i only played around 1.5 hours of ni no kuni II so far, and honestly i wasn’t sure what to expect. the only jrpg i’ve played before was persona and im not used to jrpg/jryo games so i came in pretty much blind. but to my surprise i’m actually having a really good time with it. the combat feels really fun and satisfying! fast, flashy, and a little addictive in that “just one more fight” kind of way. it actually reminded me of when i used to play on my nintendo ds as a kid, that same cozy, exciting feeling of exploring a colorful world and discovering new things. the art style is super cute, the music fits really well (joe hisaishi <3), and it just has that playful, magical vibe that makes it easy to sink into. makes me wish i had a nintendo switch so i could play this curled up in bed or on the go, because it feels like the kind of game that would be perfect for that. when i finish the game, i’ll update this review.
A solid sequel to the previous game in the series, Ni No Kuni II manages to take the aesthetic of the first game and of Studio Ghibli and add new and exciting components in order to keep things fresh. I am a sucker for any form of town building and military operations within RPGs ala Suikoden and this is where along with the cast of characters and somewhat (not as good as the first) solid story is truly where this shines, and although nothing innovative this is such a solid little experience for all. I can recommend this HOWEVER ♥♥♥♥ the dlc, ♥♥♥♥ it. no real story, no additions or new content apart from more RNG tomfoolery. play the base and be happy.
Прикольная бродилка, игра раскрывается не сразу, спустя время, когда открывается множество механик, ожидал изначально меньшего, чем получил в итоге.
