Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This review is a conditional recommend if you know what you're doing and have played the original One Way Heroics. I got the game on sale for $1, so my judgement is somewhat more lenient as it's pretty much free. The game tries too hard to be unique with its fancy new voicelines and new graphics and forgetting the core concept of fun from the original which had even more limited resources than this one. I'll start with the cons and nitpicks. Traps. Though you now have the option to turn them on to be seen at all times to prevent unfair and ridiculous game ending runs due to stepping on a trap... it's addition is just an immense annoyance, and does very little for the gameplay other than maybe dumping an enemy on a trap or two. They're probably only mitigated by the use of specific skills or specific items that may or may not appear ever, or at all in your runs which may be detrimental for long term runs on harder difficulties. I haven't played the game long enough yet to figure it out, but hey, I don't plan on leaving them invisible to suffer like a masochist. After all, nobody wants to constantly check for traps every single tile in front of them, nor is it a fun game mechanic in this case. But at least it can be turned off. Shops, compared to the original constantly have you ask for confirmation when you want to buy and sell now. For some ungodly reason, the confirmation button is "O", and cannot be changed in the settings. Want to complete a transaction? Better do that 1-4 times every town for every merchant. Steps to it go from Move item to inventory -> confirm purchase -> confirm the confirmation -> repeat. It's very annoying. As far as the pros go, better graphics, more classes, bigger enemies that you can cheese with the environment, new features are pretty cool. But I can see myself just returning to the original game after I've had enough fun out of this one.
