Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 26 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The dark and twisted themes of My Lovely Daughter are a commentary on child labor, abusive parenting, and ignorant societies. This game is intended to make people sad and uneasy but there is a deeper meaning behind the horror.
My Lovely Daughter is inspired by the hardships experienced by members of our team growing up. The game is designed to upset and disturb you.
My Lovely Daughter is a game about overcoming the loss of a loved one through forbidden alchemy experiments ... and murder. You are Faust, an amnesiac alchemist and father, who wakes up alone and confused only to discover that your lovely daughter has died. As you enter the first stages of grief, you do what everyone wishes they could do but can’t: bring back the dead with the power of alchemy.
To revive your daughter, you must perform forbidden alchemy experiments to restore her soul. You will have to create dozens of homunculi, raise them as if they were your own daughter, build relationships with them ... and then murder them to harvest their souls!
To support your experiments, you will also need to assign jobs to your homunculi, even sacrifice their bodies to sell their remnants, all to keep your income flowing and your research progressing. Perhaps, along the way, you will even recover your own memories and come to understand how this terrible situation came about.

I love the art style. Ambiance was well done. Unfortunately I could not keep playing due to the sacrifice mechanic. It is a very interesting mechanic. I could just not keep loosing the daughters that I grew attached to for upgrading resources.
My modern type of rating would be: NO. It doesn't feel like time worth spent. Gameloop is quite boring to begin with and gets repetitive real fast. Also there are no quality of life upgrades (except for auto job suggestion, but that can sometimes screw you in the Inquisitor questline) But, the story seemed interesting and somewhat relatable.
Except that the ending did not seem to make much sense. Faust regains most of his memories, still wants to save his daughter, gets betrayed one final time. Cool. He is put into different body, back in time somehow, thinks about getting his life back but then poisons and kills his wife and daughter? That felt bit weird. So my favourite ending is Rich King for sure.
It's a game filled with moral dilemmas, mysteries you're about to uncover, and the makings of being a capitalist pig. I can hardly grow attach to the virtual children but the developers really nailed the part of making these beings humane and it doesn't shy away from depicting how brutal and horrendous your actions are.
途中から作業になるものの、作品が制作された背景を思うと考えさせられるものがあります。 雰囲気はだいぶ好きです。
It's a very interesting game that surprises with its original concept. I really liked most of it, but I still think the gameplay could be expanded. After about an hour, when the player realizes what the ending process looks like, they'll be doing basically the same thing for the next hour or so. However, the art style and soundtrack are really nice, and the whole experience is saved by the game's idea.
epicness
My Lovely Daughter is a grim management simulation and narrative-driven experience that explores grief, obsession, parental responsibility, and the disturbing consequences of treating living beings as tools. Developed by GameChanger Studio and published by Toge Productions, Neon Doctrine, and Raw Fury, it places players in the role of Faust, an alchemist who awakens without his memories and discovers that his beloved daughter has died. Rather than accepting this loss, he becomes determined to restore her soul through alchemy, beginning a cycle of experiments that grows increasingly unsettling as the true cost of resurrection becomes apparent. The central gameplay revolves around creating homunculi, artificial daughters brought to life through alchemical experiments. These beings possess different personalities and characteristics, and Faust can interact with them while developing their abilities and emotional connections. The disturbing element comes from knowing that they were not created simply to be cared for. They ultimately serve Faust's larger objective, and progressing toward the resurrection of his real daughter requires exploiting and sacrificing them. This creates an unusual conflict between the player's instinct to become attached to individual homunculi and the mechanical necessity of treating them as expendable resources. Management plays a significant role in this process. Homunculi can be sent to work around the town, generating money and other resources needed to continue Faust's research. The player must decide how to use each daughter efficiently while maintaining the broader cycle of experimentation. What initially resembles a relatively straightforward resource-management system becomes uncomfortable because nearly every decision reinforces the game's darker themes. The more useful or likable a particular homunculus becomes, the harder it can feel to sacrifice her, yet refusing to do so interferes with Faust's objective. The game effectively turns ordinary optimization decisions into moral compromises. This relationship between mechanics and narrative is one of the game's greatest strengths. Instead of presenting cruelty exclusively through scripted scenes, My Lovely Daughter makes the player directly participate in Faust's actions. Repeating the process of creating, employing, developing, and sacrificing homunculi gradually risks turning these characters into statistics and resources in the player's mind. That uncomfortable normalization appears deliberate. It reflects the game's broader examination of exploitation, abusive parenting, child labor, and the way authority figures can justify cruelty when pursuing something they consider more important. Faust himself is equally important to the experience. His desire to recover his daughter initially gives him a sympathetic motivation, but the increasingly terrible methods required to accomplish that goal complicate any straightforward interpretation of him as a grieving father. His missing memories introduce an additional mystery, encouraging players to uncover information about his past and understand the events surrounding his daughter's death. Collectible letters and other discoveries provide additional context, while multiple endings encourage further experimentation and repeated playthroughs for anyone determined to piece together the larger story. The visual presentation complements the subject matter particularly well. Hand-drawn artwork gives the world a distinctive gothic character without relying entirely on graphic horror. Many of the homunculi have designs capable of inspiring sympathy or curiosity, which makes their intended purpose considerably more disturbing. Environments and character illustrations create a melancholy atmosphere, while the soundtrack reinforces the feeling of isolation and tragedy surrounding Faust's experiments. Horror here is largely psychological and thematic rather than dependent on constant monsters, combat, or jump scares. There are weaknesses in the structure, particularly its reliance on repetition. The recurring process of producing homunculi, sending them to work, gathering resources, interacting with them, and conducting further experiments can eventually become predictable. Although repetition supports the narrative idea of Faust becoming trapped in an obsessive cycle, thematic justification does not completely eliminate mechanical fatigue. Players seeking an exceptionally deep economic or management simulator may also find the underlying systems less elaborate than expected. Much of the game's appeal comes from how those mechanics interact with the narrative rather than their complexity when considered independently. Replayability is strengthened by the different homunculi, hidden information, achievements, collectible material, and multiple possible endings. Seeing everything requires more commitment than simply reaching one conclusion, and additional playthroughs can change how earlier events are interpreted. However, revisiting the repetitive management loop may not appeal equally to everyone. The game is best suited to players who value experimental storytelling and psychological discomfort more than constant mechanical variety. Steam Deck compatibility is a notable advantage. The game is officially Steam Deck Verified, with its core functionality working through the handheld's controls and its interface remaining usable on the smaller display. Controller prompts and general navigation are appropriately supported, while the game can run using settings suitable for the device. Its viewpoint and methodical pacing also translate naturally to portable play, although demanding visual settings can still make sensible performance adjustments worthwhile for players prioritizing battery life or consistent performance. Ultimately, My Lovely Daughter is memorable because it refuses to separate its uncomfortable story from the player's actions. The repetitive management systems occasionally work against its pacing, but they also reinforce the central idea of obsession gradually overriding compassion. Its haunting artwork, somber atmosphere, morally troubling decisions, mysterious narrative, and unusual approach to resource management create a distinctive experience that is difficult to confuse with conventional simulation or horror games. Players willing to engage with its deliberately upsetting themes will find an ambitious examination of grief and exploitation, even if its mechanical loop occasionally struggles to maintain the same strength as its storytelling. 一般吧,就不提这个备受争议的题材,游戏后期这个反复注射和刷居民好感也太肝了,某些结局还带没有提示的删档,云一下真结局得了没必要恶心自己。
