About
Mutant Football League 2 is the outrageous, over-the-top spiritual successor to the ‘90s Sega Genesis cult-classic hit Mutant League Football.
This is not your parents’ football game or a bloated simulation that chases realism at the expense of fun. MFL 2 is a brutal, darkly comedic 8-on-8 arcade-style action-packed football game. Teams of Mutated Super-Humans, Monstrous Orcs, Skeletal Deadheads, and Armored BruiserBots are pit against each other in fantastical arenas packed with deadly traps and sinister hazards like buzzsaws and giant mutant worms. This “anti-Madden” blends the pick-up-and-play accessibility of arcade sports games with strategic depth and a buttload of monstrous mayhem. Referees don’t just blow calls — they get blown up. Players don’t just fumble — they explode into limbs and pink mist.
Create. Mutate. Dominate.
In Mutant Football League 2, you’ll create your dream team of mutant freaks and customize your team’s player composition and tactics. The right team is your ticket to gridiron glory, and you’ll have to define their playing style. Will you deploy a relentless offensive by mutilating the opposition? Or will you slice through the enemy’s defense with razor-sharp, brainy maneuvers? It’s up to you to show the world your prowess and become a true MFL legend. Under your guidance, these mutants will rise from scrubs to legends, crushing the competition with style and savagery across Mutant Football League 2’s single-player Season, Dynasty Supreme franchise mode, and online multiplayer.
Brace yourself for exploding body parts, comically horrific deaths, and blood splatters that paint the field red. Whether getting blitzed by a rampaging monster or succumbing to a trap-laden end zone, every game is a symphony of unpredictable chaos. Dirty Trick plays even allow teams to commit bannable atrocities; those poor refs… Nothing and no one is safe.
Choose from over 36 MFL teams composed of maniacal mutant versions of pro football superstars — 32 pro-league teams like the Karcass City Creeps, Killadelphia Evils, and Blitzburgh Steelheads, and 4 minor league teams like the Orcs of Hazards and Tokyo Terminators. MFL player cards also unlock historic players who can be signed in Free Agency; So, if you’d prefer to be a special snowflake, you can create an original team and craft a legacy of your own.
Evolve your mutant baddies to unlock new armor sets, mutations, and weapons such as chainsaws, shotguns, and more. Hell, you can even use SkillRoid Boosts to give your players special abilities during a game. We ain’t natty out here.
Become the ringleader of the freakshow in MFL2’s franchise mode. Start at the bottom of the league and claw to the top, turning pro by beating the competition across several seasons and winning Mayhem Bowls. Draft rookies every season and train them up to build a powerful roster.
Design your team's arena, strategically placing lethal hazards and manipulating the weather — buzz saws to trim the competition, fire geysers to turn up the heat, or drop a blizzard on those fools. Make your stadium into the kind of place where only your team loves to play, and everyone else just prays to survive.

I took a chance on it and loved it. I haven't played Blitz in almost 20 years but this game hit the g(ood) spot if you know what I mean.
I didn’t know MFL 1 at all, so jumping into this game was an amazing surprise. The game is insanely fun, brutal, and pure chaos in the best possible way. Every match feels intense, the Dynasty mode is super addictive, and it’s one of those games where you say “just one more match” and suddenly hours have passed. I’m genuinely excited to see what the future holds for this game. I’d love to see more stadiums, deeper team customization when creating your own franchise (custom colors, logos, identity), and the return of classic races from the first game like demons, werewolves, and aliens. The only downside is that the commentators can get a bit repetitive over time, but honestly that’s minor compared to how much fun the game is overall. An excellent game with huge potential I can’t wait to see what’s coming next !

good
fun! a bit buggy but who cares if you enjoy the experience!
I played the original, then I played number 2. The exact same opening line was delivered for the Kreeps and I thought "oh boy here goes nothing" and then I realized the crowd, and background in general is far more alive. The rain is great, both how it looks and how it sounds. Gameplay is as before, the new green cloud farts are new though. Fart jokes are never not funny though. Honestly the only thing I don't particularly like is the blood splatter, it's "massive red mist" or "absolutely nothing but a flash around the player" if you turn gore off. I wish that there was like a high/medium/low blood, it's just too much, and repetitive. That's it, the rest of it is the Mutant league we all know and love, just improved, the graphics *aside from the red mist* look fantastic!
Only thing it disappoint is it got same old words a nd to improve is having blood on there until the end of game. And put in new words
until they add werewolves to nashville lycans i can't recommend the game and they need more voice lines
My QB died
MFL 2 is a very fun game. The amount of chaos caused by 'dirty tricks' plays and hazards on the field can reduce your team full of high value players to mince meat in one play. Their "Dynasty Supreme" mode is a very limited franchise game mode which adds a decent amount of replay ability. Some things I would like to see fixed or added: - In Dynasty Supreme, having a ton of "Team Funds" seems useless. I have $500M in funds but have really nothing to spend it on besides player upgrades (and you can only spend like $1.5M a week on those). This game mode needs something to spend the money on. Stadium upgrades? Uniform upgrades? Give us something!! - Punt and Field Goal blocking is just way to easy. If I put a speedy player (like a Coverback or Safety) on the line of scrimmage without a defender near by, I can block the kick 90% of the time. The AI doesn't seem to know how to adjust to this. No Max Punt Protection play? - Onside Kick recovery is horrid with the camera angle. I legitimately cannot tell where the hell the ball actually is. - Players frequently walk over fumbled balls without picking them up. - The AI is too good at dodging traps or jumping over traps.
Right out of the gate... the first thing that should be seen on your Store Page is that this game is completely unplayable without a controller. $30 is not chump change for most people, that is ridiculous. Secondly, I understand you want to FORCE people to use a game controller... but setting up the most absolutely asinine keyboard layout possible is some next level BS. Releasing a game in 2025 where you are not able to change your keybinds is just taking things to another level. Had I not enjoyed the game then I would have gone and grabbed a controller, but now I am just pissed off and will be refunding.
