Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Хоч гра і стара, але сюжет тут справді захоплюючий, а нуарна детективна атмосфера з містичними елементами робить її цікавою. Є українська фанатська локалізація. На знижках варто брати!!!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Was playing Sims 3: Medieval – got locked in a pillory and pelted with tomatoes. Went into Murdered: Soul Suspect – looked at a herd of pillories in their natural habitat and spent a whole evening running around the entire map looking for the last Abigail's graffiti. Which one? Pillories.
Definitely a fun little game. The concept is intriguing and the story unfolds in a well-paced and interesting way. It's not the greatest game, and your abilities as a ghost are limited, but the game took me only eight hours to finish and it was enjoyable the entire time. Pick this game up on sale and have a few hours of fun with it. I played it over a decade ago in 2015, but still remember it as a charming game.

The idea behind this sounded way more interesting than the actual experience ended up being. Playing as a murdered detective solving his own death while interacting with the living world as a ghost is genuinely a cool concept and the supernatural noir atmosphere gives the game a unique identity at first. Unfortunately, after the opening hours, the gameplay quickly becomes repetitive and honestly pretty boring. Most of the game feels less like detective work and more like slowly walking around waiting for clues to glow or become interactable. Investigations rarely require real thinking because the game makes it painfully obvious where you need to go or what you need to inspect next. Instead of feeling smart for solving cases, it often feels like you're just following markers while the game pretends you're investigating. The stealth sections with the demon enemies are also easily one of the weakest parts. They're not scary, not challenging, and mostly just interrupt the pacing. The mechanics are extremely basic and become repetitive almost immediately. Performance was another major issue for me. Despite the graphics being decent at best, the game suffered from constant stuttering, FPS drops, and overall poor optimization. Even adjusting mouse sensitivity felt weirdly annoying, which made basic movement feel worse than it should have. The story is probably the one thing that kept me going. It's not amazing, but the mystery itself is interesting enough to create some motivation to reach the ending. The good: - You can walk through walls like a real ghost - You can be a cat and meow - Interesting supernatural detective concept - Story and mystery are fairly engaging - Atmosphere is decent - Some cool ghost-related mechanics - Salem setting works well - Graphics are okay visually - Voice acting is decent The bad: - Extremely repetitive gameplay - Feels like a walking simulator most of the time - Investigations require almost no real thinking - Clues are usually painfully obvious - Stealth sections are boring and unnecessary - Poor optimization and constant stuttering - FPS drops despite average visuals - Mouse/cursor sensitivity feels awful to adjust - Very little gameplay depth - Combat/stealth mechanics are weak and unfun Overall, this feels like a really good idea trapped inside a very mediocre game. The story and atmosphere are decent enough, but the repetitive gameplay, weak mechanics, and technical issues made the experience far less enjoyable than it could have been. I was enjoying this game. The detective gameplay is interesting. Then I got stuck on an investigation for 45 minutes and had to look it up to realize I had already done what I'm supposed to but it was bugged and didn't progress forward. I loaded the last checkpoint did the same thing and it worked. That kind of takes away any motivation to keep playing. Every part I play after that I'll be wondering if I'm just missing something or if it's bugged again.
This game deserves more attention
This game was honestly a really good experience from start to finish. The idea behind the story is what got me hooked. You're trying to figure out what happened to your own character, and I liked how the mystery slowly comes together without giving everything away. The gameplay was also fun. Being a ghost never felt like just a gimmick. Walking through walls, reading people's minds (and playing Budget Stray using cats) made exploring interesting. I also liked that there were hostile ghosts to deal with from time to time, so it wasn't just walking around collecting clues. The only thing that really annoyed me was the ghost screams. They're way louder than the rest of the game, and sometimes you hear them before you're even close to the area they're in. After a while it stopped being creepy and just became annoying. Overall, I really enjoyed the game. The story, gameplay, and ghost mechanics all worked well together ... for a 13 years old game it deserves 8/10
