About
We love moonshin’. There ain’t nothin’ better than good booze. In Appalachia, we know it well. We’ve got moonshine in our blood - in the case of some old-timers, maybe even literally. We love to talk about likker, make it, drink it all day long - and we love to share it too! How 'bout that, my gaming friend?
What’s your alcohol of choice? Do you maybe know how to make it? The process is a complex one, but with our know-how, we can shed some light on it, if you’d like; a little bit of moonlight - moonshine! - to guide you through the processes of fermentation, distillation, and bottling. But that’s too much to write about here - just check out the .gif below to see how we went about it.
Makin’ booze is pure fun, but if you’re makin’ money too - now that’s the way to live. However, for that, you need to be smart, manage your base right, and not piss off the boys in blue...
We tried to capture the life of a moonshiner as realistically as possible. You’ll be managing workers who’ll be crafting and maintaining your equipment, you’ll be buying ingredients, unlocking technologies, planning deliveries and finances, making sure you remain as discreet as possible - and deciding whom to trust and with whom to work.
In our game, you take on the role of a young moonshiner. You will progress through main missions, perform side quests, and run into road events during deliveries - the life of a moonshiner is ever-exciting and full of surprises...
If you’ll be prospering, you’ll get the chance to create and manage bases in five different regions, each with its own, more and more challenging missions. From your hometown mountains, through the thicket of a forest and mud of a swamp, all the way to civilization to conquer the big city.
How the story will end depends purely on you - there’ll be a pesky agent who’ll want to work with you, and there’ll be a corrupt governor that you can join. But you can also ignore them. You’re a free man, after all.
That’s how Moonshine Inc. came to be. Made for moonshiners, amateurs, dreamers, and newbies. Sit down, launch the game, enjoy crafting and running your business, and relax… after all, ain't nothin’ illegal ‘til you get caught!

This tingel's my moonshiner senses at right spots, but sadly fells little short content wise. Kept my interest about 13 hours.
good game
I'm going to give Moonshine Inc. a hesitant thumbs up. I definitely had fun with it, though it does have some obvious flaws. The good: Experimenting with ingredients to find recipes is fun. The process is elaborate, which is good; there are lots of parameters to adjust and play with. The game systems pressure you to do things well, and not to go too crazy, but there are ways to get out of trouble. It's fun to watch over your moonshine enterprise and accumulate money; and the sandbox game has parameters to make it as easy or hard as you wish. The bad: Arranging devices in your hideout is interesting, but there's no depth; there's no reason to arrange them in any particular way, you can throw them down wherever. Every batch requires one fermentation apparatus and one distillation apparatus, and they're locked until the batch is done; this means that even if one process goes faster, you can't double up machines for more efficiency. You also can't clean/repair devices that are being "used", even if their step is done. So there's no feeling of constructing a factory; if you're looking for an automation game, this isn't it. As for the story...it goes along and just kind of ends. The characters are well written, but the story doesn't go anywhere. Oh well.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ok
Good way to waste time
This game is Awesome its a single player game that makes you think of how to make as much money as you can producing moonshine one of the oldest alcoholic drinks ever made. Its so much fun juggling all the quests its pretty fast moving game. So much fun!
I must say the game has a very nice core that carries me through the campaign, but there are some issues you need to know beofre buying it (i would recommend to buy it only on sale): positive:

73 different recipes of alcohol to disvover
lots of different ingredients to use for the alcohol
different production devices which you need to unlock by research and adds always new options to the production process, quite motivating
This ist the core of the game: experiment with the ingrediences and your production devices to get the best results in your produced alcohol (match the flawor and the required ethanol) and the trick is, you dont know for sure at the beginning of the production process where you will get at the end of the process (4 steps between to manage it), but with experience you will handle better and better by simply estimate and knowing the next steps and what you can do there. In my opinion there lies some true in this. To produce illegal alcohol behind some trees in some hidden place with selfmade devices you are not doing science, you just take a good guess and every batch of your alcohol may be different.
neutral:

big downer: starting with the middle game you may discover that your production needs more and more time, because you have bigger tanks of your production devices and more steps in the production channel so it happens quite a lot that you set the game at maximum speed (8x) and have for a few minutes (1-3) nothing to do but to wait until somethin is ready. That can be quite boring. My solution: I watch always somethin on my second monitor and for me it is quite fine, good stuff needs its time, right ;-). But when you only focus on the game, there are too much of this lost minutes. For me it's a neutral issue, but for some people it may be negative.
low graphics at your base
low userinterface at the map. for example, to plan deliveries the window overlays the map and sometimes the destination you want to select, so you have to minimize manually the window, select destination and carefully maximize the window again to give the final go. But once you get it, you can handle it quite easy
very limited locations on the map
story of the campaign is nothing catchy, i skipped the dialoges every time
main and side quests during the campaign are trivial, you do them to get forward
the perks of the workes are mostly irrelevant, positiv perks as well as negative perks, they simply dosent matter much
negative

only three save game slots and one autosave -> why the limitation in 2025?
you can't restart a special chapter of the campaign only restart it from the very beginning -> why?
some bugs when you build your production devices too close together, because your workes get sometimes stuck between them
the perks of your workers often dont have any effect at all, p. e. the perk "hard worker" which makes them craft devices 25% faster didn't do anything
some performance issues when you try to balance the ingredience. I have high end PC and therefore i dont know how heavy these issues are at a random pc, but if you look at the graphics the game should be running flawless by any pc of the last
Very fun to experiment with the recipes. A few bugs, but still fun
