About
Since launch, Moonlighter has received a wealth of updates—from quality-of-life improvements and balance tweaks to major roadmap additions. The current version expands the original experience with new mini-bosses, gear, over 100 new room layouts, Companions, deeper lore, and a New Game+ mode packed with fresh challenges.

During a long-passed archaeological excavation, a set of Gates were discovered. People quickly realized that these ancient passages lead to different realms and dimensions – providing brave and reckless adventurers with treasures beyond measure. Rynoka, a small commercial village, was founded near the excavation site providing refuge and a place for adventurers to sell their hard-earned riches.
Moonlighter is an Action RPG with rogue-lite elements following the everyday routines of Will, an adventurous shopkeeper that dreams of becoming a hero.

While conducting your business in Rynoka village, you can put items on sale, set their price carefully, manage gold reserves, recruit assistants and upgrade the shop. Be careful though – some shady individuals may want to steal your precious wares!

Defeat various enemies and bosses, and revel in challenging and deep combat mechanics. Masterful control of your weapons, critical timing, careful positioning, and an understanding of your enemies and environment are crucial to your survival. How you battle your enemies is up to you.

Get to know your neighbors as you restore the prosperity of this small commercial hamlet. Help establish new businesses and watch them grow in the idyllic community of Rynoka.

Understanding the crafting and enchanting system is essential for your progression. Interact with the villagers to craft new armor and weapons, and enchant existing equipment. This creates a great deal of flexibility and spices up the way equipment is used.

Access strange worlds through otherworldly gates and collect valuable items from exotic civilizations: resources, weapons, armors and peculiar artifacts. Hoarding everything won't be possible - use the unique inventory system wisely to take the most profitable loot with you.

Gates lead to different worlds. Each run is unique and forces you to make smart and calculated decisions. You never know what you will encounter next – that’s why you must be prepared for everything.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cute game of being an adventurer at night and being a shopkeeper during the day.
It's an older game but how can it be this good. The dungeons are like Zelda - old school Zelda 1, except there is a hell of a lot more than the magic sword and red ring that you can get. The gameplay, graphics, and enemy variety is impressive. It takes solid mechanics to keep me engaged in a controller game, but they have it. Normally I can't stand 'shop' games, but this title pulls it off with flair. I cadence my runs with opening my shop, shop upgrades are exciting. You can't just sit back and wait for the shop to close - there are thieves, customers will walk out, you need to lower or raise prices. The game lends itself to phases of gameplay - trying to clear the next level, trying to get a specific upgrade, trying to just raise funds. The game has depth, quality execution, and I would tell everyone to get it, even if it cost triple what I paid.
Very nice rougelike!
This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible. This dev's idea of difficulty is locking you in a monster closet - it's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ enemy spam in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ room. This dev's idea of fun is mixing some kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ combat system with another equally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ shop management system. You get items from the dungeon and then guess what you think the item is worth and maybe customers buy it. You sit around waiting... this game is apparently a waiting sim. Maybe you got lucky enough to find ♥♥♥♥ for an upgrade in the dungeon, if you even completed it fast enough, otherwise some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ invincible monster chases you. This whole game is built around ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and is composed of it, too. The art is alright, the controls are fine, but the actual GAME... the thing that you play... sucks. 2/10
