Unravel the mysteries of the seven families that inhabit Moonlight Peaks and bring a bit of light back to this spooky settlement. Just remember to be back in your coffin before the sun comes up!

Customize your perfect vampire persona and build relationships with the people of Moonlight Peaks to learn more about the town’s history. Uncover the secrets of the seven families who dwell there – and maybe even find your “tomb” love from any of the two dozen romanceable characters in the process.

Design your cozy gothic homestead, turning a forgotten farm into the ideal sanctuary. Obtain new tools and develop your property to grow even more enchanted crops and raise magical livestock.

Embrace your supernatural lineage! Shapeshift into other forms to explore all the town has to offer, and study witchcraft to learn spells that will help you on the farm or when gathering resources.

Beyond the farm, you’ll be able to enjoy fishing, foraging, and potion-crafting, along with activities like embroidering, flower arranging, and more. You can even collect cards for the town’s favorite game, Nokturna, to play against other residents.

If I had known that this game would expect people to pay that kind of price for a game, that's full of bugs and glitches - I would never have bought it. The demo showed so much promise. Seeing others that I played the game with get all their magic spells and a full backpack/inventory in their first year, made me think I had not played correctly, so I started a new game. It's just as bad the second save in. Unable to complete quests because items didn't arrive, Cutscenes that gift blueprints do not give full scene so the blueprints can be gotten. It's given me a bad taste for the game as well as the companies involved in making the game. I only perservered because the concept and story line was so promising.
A 2000s Emo Fanfic Disguised as a Cozy Farming Sim
I rage-quit weeks ago because the narrative writing is a fundamentally fractured, tonally blinded mess. If you want a cohesive world that respects its own lore, stay far away from this peak cozy-game logic fever dream. I played this for 14 hours on my family account. The Tonal Whiplash The game is marketed as a therapeutic, heartwarming, relaxing life-sim. The actual narrative feels like it was written by an angsty 12-year-old girl who just discovered Twilight and My Chemical Romance. The developers hide lazy writing and zero narrative consequences behind the shield of "cozy player freedom." It wants the dark, edgy drama of an urban fantasy show but refuses to let the world face any actual stakes for its actions. Trauma as a Personality Trait The writers seemingly have a personal vendetta against anyone in this town having a normal, healthy childhood. They use extreme, heavy themes as a lazy shortcut for character depth. This isn't a cozy town; it’s a localized psychological crisis. The game aggressively triggers players with themes of severe substance abuse, forced unhousing, and parental abandonment, but possesses zero of the maturity or nuance required to actually handle them.
It forces you to watch a mayor commit literal self-extinction in real-time while you're just trying to bake cookies.
The Total Collapse of World Lore The game spends hours building up an ancient, dramatic blood feud between the vampire family and the werewolf family. It is supposed to be the defining turf war of the town. All of that deep historical tension is completely sacrificed the second you get married.
The romance mechanics let a werewolf spouse look you dead in the eyes and ask to become a vampire just for a cute wedding aesthetic. The pack doesn't care. The town shrugs. The century-old blood war ends not with a peace treaty, but because the writers wanted to put vampire fangs on a werewolf for a custom portrait. If you divorce them, the vampirism vanishes like a cheap wedding ring.
The vampire physics are completely broken, and the immersion doesn't just bend—it shatters.
The game feels more like an Early Access game for the price point. My biggest complaint right now is the lack of things to do. As it stands right now, I'll wait for updates and additions to the game before I come back to it.
Excellent petit jeu chill version vampire, c'est original de vivre la nuit et de dormir dans un cercueil dans un jeu mignon agricole. Un patch FR de qualité est dispo sur Nexus Mod si jamais.
Installed this on my SSD and the loading screens when moving to every single location or into/out of every single building really pissed me off.
i am astonished that this is a full release? it runs terribly and it’s lacking in every department. it is, and i cannot stress this enough, SO shallow and SO repetitive, especially with the characters who are completely lifeless. the price is insane compared to other cozy games like stardew or mistria who are half of its price but a thousand times better. this game offers nothing new, just more overpriced slop in a sea of a slop-infested genre.
Moonlight Peaks is such an amazing cozy farm simulator for anyone who wants it in a world of magic and the supernatural! The whole game has a sprinkle of cozy-goth aesthetic that is absolutely adorable! The storyline is well thought out and easy to get invested in, and it's plethora of NPCs in town keeps you engaged in the story! The romance options are adorable, sweet, diverse, and inclusive! (No poly marriage however.) The mechanics are easy to learn! My only complaint is in regards to decorating: I was so inspired when I saw the NPC's beautifully decorated homes but then was quickly disappointed when I found I could not place anything diagonally, some things cannot be stacked, or place close to other items without there being an awkward gap. I also wish there were a lot more color options, and decoration packs. HOWEVER - the devs are still highly involved in updating the game, and are listening to the players with updates, and hints of DLCs! I do hope they advance the decorating of this game, and this game would be 100% my favorite cozy farm simulator game!
Fae Farm at Night
I have to go with an overall no for this game I really wanted to love it, the theme is right up my alley spooky and farming. My issue is with the questing and overall gameplay, unlike other games where you can endlessly do things at your own pace this game stops you and locks everything behind quests and on top of that the stamina in this game is god awful I am sorry. I love the characters I love the theme but the gameplay is what is stopping me when all I have to do everyday is get wood and iron because I haven't gotten the quest to get a form to unlock the next level even though all my tools are at iron and I'm stuck with them... till I get a quest.. on the 2nd year... in summer... there just doesn't feel like there is anything to do other than wait for a quest. And this game is not worth $30 when stardew and fields of mistria is $15
