Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 13 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

玩久了有别样的美感
I... put a lot of time into this. It's a fantastic casual, sit-in-bed-and-play sort of game. Lots of depth, lots of 'great setup go brrrrr' feelings. I know it's blasphemy, but I probably enjoyed my time with this more than I did Slay the Spire, which I also really enjoyed.
this was the first roguelike deckbuilder that really clicked for me. i like this game a lot :D

One of the two or three deckbuilders I'd point at as the benchmark for the genre. The multi-floor layout means you're solving a spatial problem on top of the deck problem, and the clan combinations give you a reason to keep starting over. If you like this kind of game at all, it's essential.
The best deck builder rogue like out there, I've tried slay the spire (only a little bit), stray path, inscription, deck tamer, foretales and this one has that grippy that keeps u coming back

Muito parecido com Slay The Spire. Muito bom!
I started playing Monster Train 1 after spending hours playing Slay the Spire 1, so there is no other way for me to review MT than by comparing it with StS. The concepts of both games are essentially the same. You build a deck by adding and removing cards and selecting appropriate card upgrades and trinkets. In both games, the gameplay loop is perfectly polished, ensuring constant dopamine spikes and the “one more turn” syndrome. However, they differ as well. I find MT a little more random and chaotic. This is partly due to its increased complexity, with three floors where you fight enemies, more card types, and a generally more elaborate buff system. More importantly, though, it comes from a different vibe. In StS, everything feels more planned, with damage and attacks are precisely controlled, whereas in MT, the mechanics are sometimes so complex that the outcomes of your build are unpredictable. I am not saying that the game is random, but there is a feeling of being overwhelmed by the possibilities and finding solutions more through gut feeling than rational analysis. In the end, I find both games adorable, but StS remains my first love :)
