14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you like Pokemon with more depth, and metroidvanias, this is the game for you.
Playing my second playthrough now, trying to 100% the game, the game is a good winding down game. In the end of my day just explore around and try to get my team in place. There are tons of strategy you can try, and different team composition is really fun!
Fun game with a good battle system. Nice story and a good worldbuilding. Maybe sometimes the time you need to gain experience for your monsters is a bit too much, but it could simply be my fault for building an unbalanced team
🇧🇷 Review em Português abaixo

🇺🇸 English Review

A 2D Monster Collector That Actually Evolves the Formula
Monster Sanctuary is one of those games that might look simple at first glance, but once you dive in, you realize there’s a lot more going on beneath the surface. If you enjoy games like Pokémon, this is basically a 2D monster collector with a twist—and a very good one. The gameplay is easily the highlight. Every monster has its own unique skill trees, allowing for different builds and strategies. You can’t just brute force your way through fights—team composition, synergy, buffs, debuffs, and planning actually matter. The combat system feels deep, rewarding, and sometimes surprisingly challenging, especially later in the game. The metroidvania aspect is another standout feature. Your monsters aren’t just for battle—they also unlock exploration abilities, encouraging you to revisit areas and fully explore the world. It gives a real sense of progression and makes catching new creatures always feel meaningful. Visually, the game is pleasant and charming. The pixel art is well done, and while some monster designs might feel unusual at first, many of them are creative and full of personality. It’s also fun spotting references to other games and elements from different worlds. The story, while simple at times, is engaging and enjoyable. And when the twist involving Marduk hits, it genuinely adds a strong moment to the experience. That said, the game isn’t perfect. The story pacing can feel a bit rushed in certain moments, and the endgame difficulty spike can be quite steep if you're not prepared with a well-optimized team. Still, Monster Sanctuary is a hidden gem. It manages to take a familiar formula and expand it with meaningful depth, making it one of the most interesting creature collector games out there.

My favorit Pokevania.
