Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 21.86/day in the week to Sep 8 → 32.29/day in the week after.

My first Monster Hunter game. It's quite fun, but I don't know how to play it, hehe. So, I'll try to adapt first.
Heart-Pounding Apex Romance
Oh darling, step into Kamura Village where the cherry blossoms whisper sweet nothings and massive beasts roam like brooding love interests waiting for your touch. Monster Hunter Rise sweeps you off your feet with its vibrant world of towering monsters and stylish hunts, turning every quest into a dramatic date with danger. My heart flutters just thinking about locking eyes with a raging Magnamalo under the moonlight. Who knew pixelated predators could make a hunter swoon so hard?
Wirebug Seduction Symphony
The gameplay flows like a perfectly timed confession scene as you gear up with fourteen weapon types, each boasting unique movesets that demand precise timing and positioning against colossal foes. Wirebugs let you zip through the air, mounting monsters for thrilling rodeos while Palamutes carry you swiftly across expansive maps filled with endemic life and environmental hazards. Rampage mode throws waves of smaller creatures at defensive structures you set up, blending tower defense elements with classic hunting. Crafting and upgrading armor and weapons requires gathering materials from successful hunts, creating deep progression loops. Silkbind attacks add flashy special moves that interact dynamically with each monster's behaviors and attack patterns. Multiplayer lets you team up for epic takedowns, sharing the thrill of victory as you carve rewards from fallen giants. Compared to Monster Hunter World, Rise cranks up the speed and arcade-style action with Wirebugs and Silkbinds turning hunts into high-mobility spectacles, while World feels more grounded and deliberate with its environmental interactions and tracking focus. Rise trims the story fluff for quicker hunts, making it a breezier experience overall.
Expansion Route Unlocked - Sunbreak
The Sunbreak expansion builds directly on Rise's foundation with higher difficulty Master Rank quests that push your skills to the limit. New locales like the Citadel and Jungle offer fresh hunting grounds brimming with unique endemic life and dynamic events. Follower quests let you team up with NPC companions who fight alongside you, adding squad-based strategy even in solo play. It introduces Afflicted Monsters and Qurious Crafting for endgame progression, where you tackle increasingly challenging corrupted beasts for powerful rewards. Weapon and armor sets get massive new options with layered designs, while the story continues with epic confrontations against threats like the Three Lords.
Blushing Over Beastly Charms
This game stole my heart with its lightning-fast mobility thanks to Wirebugs that turn every hunt into an acrobatic ballet of dodges and aerial assaults, making fights against flagship monsters like Magnamalo feel like passionate tangoes full of sparks and close calls that leave you breathless. The incredible weapon variety and skill system lets you craft the perfect hunter build, mixing armor sets and decorations in ways that reward experimentation like flirting with multiple tsundere love interests until you find your soulmate combo. Palamutes are the ultimate loyal companions, riding into battle with you while Palicos provide support, creating a found family vibe that's warmer than a cozy visual novel route. Quality of life touches like quick travel and streamlined gathering make the experience flow so smoothly you barely notice the hours melting away into pure hunting bliss. Monster designs shine with personality, from cute small critters to intimidating apex predators that each demand their own unique courtship strategy of learning patterns and weaknesses. The vibrant aesthetics and performance deliver stunning environments and fluid animations that make every successful hunt feel like a fireworks-filled confession under the stars.
Teasing the Thorny Thorns
Sometimes the repetitive Rampage quests feel like that one clingy yandere route that drags on a bit too long with wave after wave of smaller foes testing your defenses instead of delivering pure one-on-one monster romance, pulling focus from the heart-racing hunts that made me fall in love in the first place. The maps, while functional and packed with secrets, lack the jaw-dropping immersive detail and ecological storytelling of Monster Hunter World, making exploration feel more like a quick coffee date rather than a sweeping epic adventure through living ecosystems. In the base game, the endgame can start to loop back on itself after the initial thrill, with fewer fresh surprises compared to deeper expansions, leaving you craving just a bit more spice in your monster-mashing routine before Sunbreak swoops in like a dramatic sequel.
Eternal Hunt for Your Heart
In the end, Monster Hunter Rise captures that perfect mix of addictive combat, charming companions, and endless customization that keeps you coming back for more dates with danger. It stands proudly alongside classics like Monster Hunter World and even echoes the thrill of future entries in the series with its fresh ideas. The Sunbreak expansion is basically the true route unlock, adding massive value with new monsters and challenges that deepen the romance. If you're looking for a game that makes grinding feel like flirting, this is your perfect match. For the price tag, it's a steal especially with DLC bundles that extend the passion for hundreds of hours.
Grade
Final Rating: 88/100 It's a game that sweeps you off your feet with exhilarating hunts and monster charm but holds back just a touch from absolute perfection due to a few repetitive moments and lighter narrative depth.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best JP #68, worst KR #100 · 4 markets collected

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
