i haven't seen this game in almost 20 years and my god it brings back memories. just wish i could remember other games that were like this that aren't on steam lmao

I kinda feel bad not recommending this? Like, okay, I recommend this just for maybe PC Video Game History purposes. So, I never played this as a kid, so I have no nostalgia for it. Just wanna say that upfront. And I have nothing against all that did and love it. Like, that's cool! If I had this game as a kid, i'd most likely be the same. I would have stuck with it for ages and have that wonderful nostalgic love for it. But alas, I didn't and don't. I only lasted about an hour in, on this first attempt. And like, I couldn't stand the precision needed in some moments, which seems impossible to execute. I couldn't stand the apparent guaranteed damage in some spots. And I also couldn't stand how it seems like I soft-locked myself out of being able to complete a level. Maybe one day I'll come back and dedicate more time to it, but right now? Meh, probably not. I did like the ridiculous story you can read before playing and the aesthetics are fun. And it seems like there's TONS of content. All of that is cool and good! And I do have a love for a lot of other Apogee games from the time. This one, I just couldn't deal with, right now. So no, I guess I can't recommend it. But maybe if you can find someone that has done a let's play and if it looks good to you, check it out!

Unless you just want the nostalgia of awkwardly playing with your keyboard, I would highly recommend you get Monster Bash HD instead of this. Would have been nice if they were just packaged together.

Incredibly hard but incredibly nostalgic for me. Maybe only worth it if it was a game you played back in the day.
