Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 9 → 0.86/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

While I love the updated art of the new version, I wish they'd kept the concept of collecting Misao's actual body parts.
This game is a short and fun game. It has some brutal game overs and scenes that isn't suitable for everyone, but you can pretty much save in most places when using the quicksave. It took me a bit under 2 hours to beat the game without playing the extra mode, and a bit more than 2 hours if you include the extra mode.
Absolutely legendery game that I can recommend even to those people who're usually scared to play horrors because of the jumpscares or high pressure. Here, Misao is a pure absurdic fun, like slasher horror movies, full of gore scenes and silly humor. That's exactly what you'll see here, my friend! Though it does have a great storytelling, too. It only disguises like a bloddy nonsense theater, but beyond the scene there's an actually traumtic, yet beautiful experience to feel with your own heart c: Note for Dualshock users: works greatly thanks to the Steam layouts. I finished it with no problems.

If Kurata has million haters, then I'm one of them. If Kurata has one hater then I'm THAT ONE. If Kurata has no haters, that means I'm no longer alive. If the world is against Kurata then I support the entire world. Till my last breath, I'll hate Kurata!!!!!
i never played the original version of this game cuz i always assumed it was a rip off corpse party… i was wrong (sorry) ragebait the game… but its still fun basicallt everything in this game can and will kill u but the game makes up for this in multiple ways firstly u can quicksave at anytime at the press of a button the only time u cant do this is if ur already in danger otherwise u can save as much as u want so u never really have to backtrack far secondly the game is short, my first run took about 1.5 hours but my second took only 30 mins, theres also an element of the game being somewhat non linear as u dont have to do each task innorder each time which helps with completing the 100% thirdly while if going for the 100% u have to play the game twice i think its a good game to replay seeing if u can get through it without dying (not that its an achievement just a cool idea) positives: love the artstyle love the majority of characters wish this game was longer so they could be more fleshed out tho map design was really well done Issues: i hate how not scary the game is theres many moments where this seems more like a parody than a true horror mainly due to bad joke timings. i hate the villain, i think it coulda been an interesting concept if not for the litteral redemption arc that this degenerate of a character had to have (thankfully its optional but still not a good look considering what they did to the characters) i know i complimented this but i kinda hate how unstable everything feels in terms of dying in the game, sometimes its obvious while other times its not like yea getting grabbed by the ghost will kill me but how was i to know that inspecting a flower would poison me. i also kinda hate how short the game is, basically theres two parts, the main game, and the truth game. the truth game is essentially an epilogue which focuses on giving characters more depth but it feels soooo forced id rather the game have been longer and done characterisation more naturally overall: i would recommend just be smart with saves and enjoy the game for what it is
Replayed the game for the 2024 remaster after already seeing Youtubers play the original way back in the day and personally playing Definitive Edition a few years back. The game is still good. Short, sweet, and to the point. One puzzle did give me some trouble admittedly but after I solved it I realized the clues were there. It's also nice that the True Ending isn't locked behind a replay of the game. All that aside, I cannot give this game full marks as, over a decade after the original release and not one but TWO major updates that overhaul the visuals, gameplay, story, etc.,
the Female Aki ending still only says that her and Misao are friends while the Male Aki ending has them end the story as friends with the implication that they have a mutual fondness for each other and just need more time to form a bond
With the original version, I can understand why maybe that's not where the original team wanted to take the story, especially considering the time period it came out in. However, it's baffling to me that, despite all the other changes to the story, including adding a whole new protagonist, this aspect of the story remains unchanged all these years later and, outside of a potential future update, seems like it will remain that way. tl;dr Great game, good story, amazing artwork, great music, the very end leaves me wanting however. 8.5/10, could be a 9 or even 9.5 if that one issue didn't exist.
