I'm a sucker for medieval art style, but when I reached out for help on a technical issue the creator of the game helped me solve the problem in a timely manner-which i appreciated. On a real note, the game is fun, a map with so much to discover makes the world itself so alive and large. Highly recommend supporting this project, so much potential and I cannot wait to see where it goes!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Like Stardew Valley crossed with Pentiment... beautiful graphics, fun game play, and the world is very engaging. It's a little buggy, but given how big the game is I think it's a fair trade.
its grindy, but its very cute. Combat takes some getting used too tho
relatively chill gameplay but pretty buggy at times. art style and character design is ok, environments are great though
BRO, FIX THE COMBAT – an honest 6/10 review (with 10/10 potential) Alright, let me be upfront: I genuinely liked Mirthwood. If there was a neutral rating option, I'd probably use it. As it stands, it's a solid 6/10 — charming, cozy, with a real fantasy RPG backbone that honestly has the bones of something great. But it's got problems, and some of them are hard to ignore. The stuff that works The vibe is really hard to hate. Medieval peasant fantasy, beautiful hand-drawn art, a farm to tend, stuff to explore, relationships to build. On paper, mixing Stardew Valley with light RPG elements — dungeons, bandits, quests — sounds like it could go wrong. Here it mostly clicks. I found myself genuinely enjoying quiet evenings on the farm, stumbling across corners of the Free Lands, soaking in that cozy-but-gritty atmosphere. Now, the combat. God, the combat. This is where things fall apart. It's clunky in a way that feels less like "rough indie game" and more like "this needed another six months." Melee is stuck to a 2D left/right axis in an isometric world, which means fighting anything is a spatial nightmare. There's input lag. Enemies teleport around or clip into geometry. Dodging, rolling, parrying — none of it feels solid. What should be tense fights against cave bandits just becomes a frustrating slog, especially in tight corridors. And from what I've seen in other reviews, I'm not alone on this. Other stuff that kept bugging me Performance is rougher than it should be for a sprite-based game — stuttering, frame drops, general jankiness. Quests often just... don't tell you where to go, or give you a vague nudge and hope for the best. The farming and crafting grind can go off the deep end with resource requirements. And there are small polish misses everywhere — bugs with fast travel, weird NPC behavior, and (a big one for a cozy game) no grid for interior decorating. It honestly still feels like early access, even though it's a full release. Final take I had fun with this. Real fun, in stretches. The core loop is genuinely appealing and the world has personality. But combat needs a serious rework — better movement, smarter AI, maybe an easier mode — and the whole thing needs another pass of polish before I'd recommend it without caveats. If you're the type who can tune out clunky combat and rough edges, or you're willing to poke around for mods, go for it. Otherwise, maybe wait for a few patches. Devs — the foundation is there. Please finish building on it.

good game overall. look forward for continue updates
Me fascina!
