Entire game basically is built around the end encounter. NOTHING is even remotely hard compared to this. Actually takes it down a notch for me. It's a good game but core mechanics like burrowing are essentially useless in the end.
was forced to buy this against my will and it took me 5 minutes to set up the controls

Does the gameboy style very well. I also love how open the world is, you can go straight to the more difficult areas (I went straight to Septemburg, Crow Town in particular is brutal) and I really do enjoy the challenge. This game is not easy which is a good thing. As a fan of old school 2D Zelda such as Link's Awakening and The Oracle Games I am having fun.
Incredibly fun from start to end with a banging soundtrack with a good amount of challenge. Mina is cute too so bonus points for that :)
Juste frustrant.

Call me Mina the way I be Hollowing out my cheeks under the desk at Yacht Club Games for creating this masterpiece. Post review
really wanna like this game but -bad map -immediate tough as nails runbacks -insane difficulty curve not for me
Great game, there is so much content and so many options in terms of weapons and items to equip. The biggest compliment I can give is that every screen is so unique that if I looked up where to find a collectable I knew which ones I missed right away from seeing screenshots. A few of those items might have been better as permanent power ups to free up trinket space, but it's the smallest complaint. Also there are a lot of secrets I only learned about after beating the game. Plus an exhaustive list of modifiers you can add once you beat the game. Be sure to talk to all the NPCs, the amount of hints they gave me that I ignored until going for 100% completion was crazy.
