Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.25/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0.4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Midnight Ghost Hunt is an asymmetrical multiplayer game developed by Vaulted Sky Games and published by Coffee Stain Publishing that blends hide-and-seek mechanics with supernatural combat and chaotic team-based action. The game takes place across a series of haunted locations where two teams of four players compete against each other as either ghost hunters or ghosts. At its core, the experience revolves around deception, teamwork, and quick decision-making as players attempt to outmaneuver their opponents using gadgets, supernatural powers, and clever use of the environment. The premise is built around the idea of professional ghost hunters attempting to cleanse haunted locations of mischievous spirits before midnight arrives. Armed with specialized equipment designed to detect paranormal activity, the hunters must search through rooms filled with everyday objects to uncover the hidden ghosts. Meanwhile, the ghosts attempt to remain concealed by possessing items scattered throughout the environment. Nearly any prop within the game world can become a disguise, allowing ghost players to hide inside furniture, appliances, decorations, and countless other objects. This creates a constant sense of uncertainty for the hunters, who must carefully inspect suspicious objects while avoiding ambushes from lurking spirits. Each match unfolds in two distinct phases that dramatically affect the pace of the game. During the initial phase, hunters attempt to locate and eliminate all ghosts before the in-game clock reaches midnight. If the hunters manage to destroy every ghost before time runs out, they secure victory for the round. However, if even a single ghost survives until midnight, the situation reverses completely. At that moment, the ghosts gain powerful abilities and the hunters become vulnerable targets. What began as a search mission quickly turns into a desperate survival scenario where the hunters must escape or fend off the now empowered spirits. This dramatic shift in gameplay creates some of the most exciting moments in the game. Hunters who once dominated the map may suddenly find themselves running for cover, while ghost players seize the opportunity to swarm their former pursuers. The sudden reversal keeps matches unpredictable and ensures that rounds rarely feel decided until the very last moments. Playing as a hunter focuses heavily on coordination and the strategic use of equipment. Each hunter can choose from a variety of gadgets and weapons designed specifically for paranormal detection and combat. Tools such as radar scanners and spectral sensors help identify suspicious objects that might be possessed by ghosts. Once a ghost is discovered, hunters rely on specialized weaponry designed to capture or destroy supernatural entities. Players can also deploy traps or support gadgets that restrict ghost movement or reveal hidden enemies. Choosing the right combination of tools can dramatically influence how a hunter approaches each match. On the other side of the conflict, ghost players rely on stealth, trickery, and supernatural abilities. Possessing objects allows them to hide in plain sight, blending into the environment while waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Ghosts can also manipulate objects around them, launching furniture or decorations at hunters as improvised weapons. Additionally, each ghost can equip a set of abilities that enhance their playstyle. Some abilities emphasize stealth and evasion, while others allow ghosts to create traps or unleash powerful attacks during confrontations. Teamwork plays a crucial role regardless of which side players choose. Hunters must coordinate their searches and share information about suspicious areas to avoid missing hidden ghosts. If hunters separate too much, they risk being ambushed by coordinated ghost attacks. Ghost teams benefit equally from cooperation, often using distractions or coordinated ambushes to confuse hunters and split their attention. A well-organized ghost team can manipulate the environment to create chaos, forcing hunters into mistakes that allow the ghosts to escape detection. The game’s maps are carefully designed to support this style of gameplay. Locations include haunted mansions, abandoned theaters, spooky amusement parks, and other atmospheric environments filled with interactive objects. Each map contains numerous hiding spots and environmental hazards that both sides can use strategically. The density of props ensures that hunters are constantly second-guessing themselves while ghosts enjoy countless opportunities to blend into the surroundings. Visually, Midnight Ghost Hunt adopts a colorful and stylized art direction that balances spooky themes with a playful tone. Although the environments feature dim lighting and eerie details typical of haunted settings, the overall aesthetic avoids becoming overly grim. Instead, the game leans into exaggerated character designs and vibrant visual effects that make the chaotic battles feel energetic and entertaining rather than frightening. The sound design also contributes significantly to the gameplay. Hunters rely on subtle audio cues to locate hidden ghosts, such as the faint movement of possessed objects or ghostly whispers in nearby rooms. Ghost players can use these sounds strategically to distract hunters or lure them into traps. The soundtrack blends eerie ambience with energetic battle music, enhancing both the tension of searching for hidden enemies and the chaos of the midnight showdown. Customization is another strong element of the experience. Both hunters and ghosts can unlock perks, abilities, and equipment that modify their playstyle. Hunters might specialize in tracking and detection, while others focus on direct combat or trap deployment. Ghost players can experiment with stealth-oriented abilities or aggressive powers designed for close-range attacks. These customization options encourage experimentation and give players a sense of progression as they continue playing. Despite its creativity and engaging mechanics, the game does have some challenges. New players may find the learning curve somewhat steep, particularly when trying to understand the many gadgets and abilities available to both teams. Early matches can feel overwhelming until players learn how the different tools interact and how to communicate effectively with teammates. Another factor that influences the experience is the reliance on multiplayer participation. Because the game is built entirely around team-based online matches, its long-term enjoyment depends on an active player base. Without enough players available for matchmaking, finding balanced games can sometimes become more difficult. Even with these limitations, Midnight Ghost Hunt stands out as a creative take on the prop-hunt genre. Its combination of stealth, action, and sudden role reversal keeps matches exciting and unpredictable. The constant tension between hiding and hunting ensures that both sides remain engaged throughout the entire round. Overall, Midnight Ghost Hunt delivers a lively and imaginative multiplayer experience that successfully merges humor, supernatural themes, and competitive gameplay. Its inventive mechanics, engaging map design, and intense midnight twist create a unique formula that remains entertaining even after many matches. For players who enjoy chaotic team-based games and creative asymmetrical mechanics, it offers a memorable and highly replayable experience. Rating: 8/10
The game is really really fun except the updates are basically zero and no marketing as well, which means no players. Like really it just gets you queue up with bots. So I would say buy it if you have friends and play in your own lobbies
