Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.43/day in the week to Aug 27 → 20/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Shadow of Mordor is a great game. The Nemesis System makes every enemy encounter feel unique, and the combat is really satisfying. Exploring Mordor, fighting orcs, and building up your character never gets boring. The story is interesting, the world looks great, and the gameplay is just a lot of fun. Definitely worth playing if you enjoy action games.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

100% Steam Deck banger @ medium settings with a 40hz cap. It also runs well on Windows 11 machines. I played this on PS4 at launch and hadn't touched it since. Shadow of Mordor aged like fine wine. It was great in 2014, and feels even better in 2026, all things considered with the current state of the gaming industry. Smooth, fluid combat and the Nemesis System is still satisfying twelve years later. It's a shame this system is locked to this title and its sequel, but here we are. RIP Monolith. You deserved so much more than what you got.

I came into this hopeful. I’ve heard so much about how great the Nemesis system is, but honestly, it’s nothing special. Having used the SAIN AI mod in other games, I look at the Nemesis system and wonder what the hype was about—it's just a glorified database, not smart combat logic. As for the gameplay itself, it’s ass. It is completely asinine that the game chooses who I fight instead of giving me a hard lock-on. There is nothing worse than being close to beating a boss, only for the auto-targeting to randomly switch me to a grunt in the background while the main boss runs away and re-heals. I'll be frank, a good chunk of my struggle is probably due to user error, but the game fundamentally wrestling enemy selection away from the player ruins the entire experience. I did get this game super cheap so not really a loss but I was expecting more and better gameplay. I am going to see what the modding scene is like if that can help with some of the issues i am encountering. Will update review if anything changes.
Fun
